Warm competent friendly. I needed a plumber for my new vanity and sink. They attached the pipe and made sure the vanity was stable. Additionally the technician took time to clean the area when the job was completed. This kind and quality of service is rare. I would use this service again.and again.

Rebecca was very responsive to our request for an estimate to upgrade our panel. She scheduled Mr. Friday, an experienced electrician who had previously wired up our 220v kiln in the garage. Had a great consultation with Mr. Friday who thoroughly explained panel technical details. After discussing what we had been thinking with Mr. Friday, he determined we did not need to upgrade our panel and the work we are contemplating can be supported with our current panel with plenty of circuits to spare. He was very thoughtful and patiently explained electrical requirements to us in a manner we could understand. It was great talk with this professional and we will definitely be calling Beacon for any future electrical requirements. A great team to work with.

Called Beacon again to install and hardwire low voltage under shelf lighting that came with floating shelves we were installing. Spoke with Rebecca again and she was friendly and helpful as always, really very easy to work with - funny and cheerful. She arranged for Bryce to come out the same day. Bryce was professional and well spoken. We discussed the work and he had great ideas to improve the installation that I had been thinking about. We agreed on the work, he provided an estimate and once I agreed he got right to work. He set up the work area, laid out protective measures and worked diligently to accomplish the work. It was a pleasure to work with him. In summary, another outstanding Beacon experience - all accomplished on the day I called.

Just added a Halo filtration system along with a reverse osmosis faucet to my house. John Katsiotis did the consulting, selling and the installation. I couldn’t be happier with the level of service and care. I think a lot of us are worried about our water right now and I’m feeling very comfortable knowing I had these installed. John K is so knowledgeable when it comes to water so please, take his advice.

Zak is incredibly professional and the best plumbing technician we gave dealt with and we have tried so many through the years. Mary was incredibly professional and an excellent communicator making sure everything was arranged and we always knew the status. We required services more than one day and everything was handled well and cleaned up spotlessly. Zak is intelligent, thorough and explains everything well.

I recently purchased a new home and called Beacon Home Services for an estimate to install an attic fan. Our HVAC seemed unable to cool the upstairs efficiently. Dustin pointed out that the attic ducts were detached in multiple locations. This was a known issue for which I had previously hired someone to repair, so I was quite surprised to hear it was still an issue. Dustin was able to provide a quote and re-attach the ducts on the spot. He identified and repaired 4 areas of concern.
He also provided the attic fan estimate, but I may not need it now as my upstairs is noticeably cooler a couple of hours later.

Needed an electrical outlet installed in toilet area for bidet. The electrician, Hernain Martinez, arrived on time and was extremely professional and efficient. He had the GFCI outlet installed in a manner of minutes and did a fantastic job. Thanks for the great service and no holes in drywall were an added bonus. Awesome work.

Rebecca and Christian responded immediately to my request for an estimate appointment and then installed and new breaker panel and timer for our pool the same day as the estimate approval.

In general, Beacon is a top professional electrician company that isn’t necessarily the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. One has to pay for a top quality company that not only responds and works efficiently and effectively, but also uses the latest tools, like iPads with the latest CRM software, to enable their technicians to create quotes and get approvals to move forward on the spot.

I highly recommend this outfit, as all of their technicians (including Will and Nathan too 😉 )are professional, courteous, and listen to all of the customer’s concerns and requests before moving forward with a solution that the customer will be satisfied with for long time.

Nelson Mota did an outstanding job with the electrical work at my home. He replaced the electrical panel, installed the proper grounding and bonding system, added a dedicated circuit for the range, installed a whole-home surge protector, and addressed several other electrical safety and code items.

What really stood out was the quality of his workmanship. The wiring inside the panel was extremely neat and well organized, everything was done properly and up to code, and he was very thorough and detail-oriented throughout the entire job. It was clear that Nelson takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about doing the job right.

I also want to thank Mary for helping coordinate and schedule everything. She was very helpful and made the process smooth and easy.

First, Mary was AMAZING. I had accidentally confirmed the wrong date, and she went above and beyond to help me find a time that worked. She absolutely did not have to take the extra time to call around, figure things out, and then get back to me, but she did. I really appreciated that level of customer service before anyone even came out!

Today, I was scheduled for an electrical troubleshooting appointment and Dustin was our technician. I had an unknown electrical issue in my business space that had been causing me a LOT of stress. Dustin was incredibly knowledgeable and, for the first time, someone was actually able to clearly explain what the issue was and what needed to be done.

Even better, he helped me figure out the best way to get everything taken care of quickly and in a way that worked for my business and budget. This review is very personal to me.

While I was on vacation, my basement flooded, and we needed some basic baseboard heating removed. I called someone who was “highly recommended,” but unfortunately, the job was not done correctly. Even worse, I was left terrified and told that unless I spent $6,000 on additional work, my house could potentially burn down at any moment.

Thankfully, my husband said, “This just doesn’t sound right,” so we called Beacon Light.

Within an hour, they had a master electrician, Dustin, at our home. From the moment he arrived, Dustin restored my faith in people.

He patiently walked me through everything. Even though it wasn’t a large job, he spent hours explaining our options. What meant the most to me was when he said, “I don’t want to sell you anything you can’t afford if you don’t need it.”

That kind of honesty and compassion is rare.

Dustin left, but when I had another question later, he called me back and reassured me that everything was fine and that we could take care of things a little at a time.

We received excellent help from Beacon Home Services. We especially appreciated their efficiency. They right away contacted us when we submitted a search online. We had a defective water heater that needed replacement. They came almost immediately to our house and the next day the new water heater was in place and fully functional. Everything went smoothly from scheduling, thanks to Mary, to the actual installation by the crew, thanks to Sean and Maurice. We particularly appreciated that Sean took the time to answer all our questions and explain in details when we were not clear about the process. All in all a fantastic job was done and we highly recommend their services.

Beacon Home Services is a firm that does what it says and says what it means. The remarkable thing about this company is that it genuinely seeks to help its customers resolve their plumbing issues. So rare in today’s world.

I was dealing with a pernicious shower leak that resisted my best coaxing. Through Angie’s List, I decided to contact the company. I’ve made the right decision. Beacon home services responded immediately and scheduled me for an appointment the next day in the 8:00 am – 4:00 pm time frame. They didn’t provide me a price over the phone, because they didn’t know what the situation entailed. The next day, the company provided me regular update as to when to expect the plumber. They also sent me the bio of John Katsiotis which I didn’t pay much attention to initially.

Mr. Katsiotis arrived closer to the 4:00pm range, which was fine with me. He introduced himself, then quickly and expertly assessed the leak to ensure that it has not worsen over time nor caused any water damage. He understood that I was a little bit anxious with a leak on my hands; so, he calmed my anxieties by assuring me that he can do this work, and stop this annoying leak. John, by his plumbing knowledge, skills and abilities, helped me understand the difference between an amateur and a professional. John is a professional. He did in 30 minutes what would have taken me 8 hours or more to complete. He proceeded swiftly to remove the shower handle, determine the cartridge type it was using and replaced it. He had it in stock. John not only fixed the leak, but also educated me about the importance of simple maintenance that could help avoid an expensive repair bill down the line.

I very much enjoyed working with John Katsiotis of Beacon Home Services. He was outstanding. It was like watching an artist at work. After John finished the job, I read the bio and realized it was not a piece of PR fluff. It was real. They mean every word in that bio. And that’s the thing I have come to learn with Beacon Home Services. They mean what they say and say what they mean.

I very much enjoy working with this company. From the courteous man who responded on the phone, to the updates they provided regularly. The company is geared toward one thing, helping their customers with their plumbing and electrical problems. They understand the customer and really seek to help the customer. A reliable plumbing company is hard to find. When you find one, keep them. This company is a keeper. I plan to use them in the future to help resolve any plumbing, electrical or drain issues.

Update: I recently used Beacon again (July 2026) for a large job. I requested Will and he was available for my project. Will had a gentleman working with him, named Nathan, who was also excellent. Scheduling was easy with Rebecca and communication was great. Pricing was very fair, and the work was done over a period of 2 days. This was yet another great experience and I will continue to use Beacon Home Services for future needs.

Xavier, Angel, and Lony did a fantastic job installing a new AC for my townhouse. They found a unit that could fit through my doors saving me the cost of renting a crane. They went above and beyond fighting off an unexpected hornets nest on my roof. The entire crew was professional and polite and explained the work in a way that was easy for me to understand. Beacon was great for what I needed at my home. Rebecca communicated with me and gave me plenty of timely updates on when my technician Shawn A. would arrive. I put in a request for service on Saturday and was immediately contacted and an appointment was set up for Monday. The technician arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem and, after consulting with me about the cost of the repair, replaced the bad GFCI outlet. I thought the service was great and the repair cost reasonable. I am very satisfied with Beacon and will use them again if I have electrical our plumbing needs at my home.

Kevin did a fantastic job with our outlet installation and breaker panel upgrade. He was up front about the work required during his evaluation and explained all the work he would be doing. The outlet he installed was for a wall mounted tv and he hung the tv and mounting bracket back up despite that not being something we asked of him. Would definitely recommend his services. Kelvin our Electrician was great. He was able to find the problem and fix bad wiring that was potentially a fire hazard. The repair was made in a timely manner and I think the price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

Called Beacon Home services this morning. I did not get the name of this nice lady who answered the phone. She was very helpful and got us help within few hours. Zachary was the technician who came to help us. What a nice respectful and honest worker this company has. I would label Zachary as equal to a fresh breeze when weather is at 100 degrees outside.

Mr Friday, the technician, was excellent and offered alternatives. He replaced the attic fan motor and thermostat. He also explained how the system worked since it had not worked since we moved in 4 years ago. I expect 2-4 degree difference in summer temperatures.

I’m sure they are more expensive but they do excellent work and they clean up after themselves. They show up when they say they will. Mary was very nice to arrange the work and Brandon was very skillful doing the work. I will surely call them again.

Near the end of December, my hot water heater sprang several leaks on a Sunday. In my attempt to locate a plumber that could possibly come out, I made numerous calls. Beacon just happened to be one of the responders. The following day, Andre showed up and assessed the problem. He gave me a quote to replace the hot water heater along with one other recommendation. I called the office that afternoon to set up the project. Andre showed up the following morning as planned. He told me it would take about 3 hours to complete the project. He actually finished earlier. When I came in to see the new hot water heater and all that he had done, I was pleasa ntly surprised. His work was excellent, down to the cleaning up after he had finished. He took the time to explain what was done abd a few installations that my previous hot water did not have. I could tell he enjoys his work, and, for me, that was a plus! Thank you Beacon for excellent service!

A very special thank you to Mary who was key in keeping me updated pior to Zak's arrival. Zak and Tom did an amazing job! Zak inspected everything from the kitchen sink and dishwasher to laundry room and 2 bathrooms! I expressed some of my interests before he started. But his inspection went beyond the interests which was very good. Zak is very knowledgeable. He took his time in explaining each item that needed attention. I liked the fact that he asked pertinent questions which let me know that he took his work seriously. Once he did his write-up with the estimates, he gave explanations for each which was helpful for me. After that, he proceeded to do the hot water heater flush. I explained to him that I wanted to do a follow-up on a previous quote I had received from another business. While I did show him what the issues were, he pointed out that one suggested item was the wrong type and that I would need 3 items instead of just replacing the one. He discussed a few other things that I should consider. It was time well spent and I learned a few things in the process. Once he was finished, he confirmed my email address as he would be sending the quotes to me. Once again, thank you Mr. Friday and Rebecca for making this a very pleasant inspection.
