Bryce was phenomenal. He was very polite and professional and knew just what was needed to solve my problem. I knew this was the right company as soon as I called and talked to Mary. She was so accommodating to my time frame. She was so helpful. Great business and fantastic people to deal with.

Chris arrived on time and went through process with me explaining everything very clearly. He then did a walk through with me and addressed all the items on my list. He made great suggestions that I may consider on another date he completed all the items on my list in a reasonable amount of time. I will call Beacon for future electrical needs.

Quick and very professional and knowledgeable

I contacted Beacon to come out and install some outdoor outlets and fix an outlet inside that stopped working. Christian was sent out and he made sure to explain everything to me while also making sure he took care of all of the things I wanted done. To top things off, he actually cleaned up after himself unlike other companies I’ve used in the past. I’d definitely have him back out for any future electrical needs.

Good technian that came out to inspect although the price was beyond our budget.

I had some issues with the switch of my trash compactor and wasn’t sure if the switch was shorted or the GFI had stopped working. I called Beacon, which I found on Google and had great reviews, and was pleased with how quickly they responded. The technician, Bryce, was on time, diagnosed the issue quickly (GFI), recommended a whole house surge protector, which I had in my previous home, and provided a fair quote for the service, which he completed in less than one hour. I was very pleased and highly recommend Beacon.

Maurice & Devon completed a load analysis & recommended a new main & and an auxiliary panel to handle the new cable runs. Amy project-managed our transition from old to new flawlessly. Our project involved coordination with Dominion & Fairfax County, due to frayed old cables from pole to our home. We felt really good about every step that Beacon coordinated. Considering the knowledge, skill & services we received, the project was priced just right - more competitive than others we interviewed. Beacon exceeded our expectations. Just look at the work they did, it demonstrates superb craftsmanship & perfect documentation. Who could ask for more!

We had Ahmad Shaban service our new home to install new outlets and junction box for our mounted TV. While here, he noticed a couple of other items that he was able to take care of. These included servicing our electrical box/circuit breakers, installing a "whole-house surge protector" and cleaning up the wire connections. He was very respectful, knowledgable, and capable. He took the time to help us get a layout of which circuit breakers controlled which rooms, and to advise on troubleshooting future shorts. He was kind enough to let me pick his brain on best ways to proceed with other house chores and renovations that we plan for the near future. All-around very great guy, and we are very happy with the service.

Reached out to Beacon yesterday afternoon. Had an appointment for this morning in hand by close of business. Gabriel and Christian arrived on time to tackle the removal and replacement of an old ceiling fan located in the 2nd story ceiling. They were quick, efficient and very detail-oriented in their efforts—AND so incredibly polite and personable. I can’t recommend them enough. Our technician, Friday, was right on time and gave great advice as to how to best Install and repair our electrical issues. He was very efficient and kind. I would absolutely use these services again and would request Friday.

Kevin did an awesome and thorough job installing and setting up our new modern looking 60” Kengrove II Smart ceiling fan. It replaces a fan that looked like it was from the late 70s. When making the estimate, Kevin walked us through all the pricing details, potential issues with installs, and payment options. Prior to install, I contacted Beacon directly and Melissa provided information to validate licensure and insurance for their contractors. Melissa was great about providing exact times for our appointment and follow up post appointment to ensure there were no issues. Beacon had Great customer service and wonderful in home service. I will be using Beacon again for a few other projects around our house!

Melissa scheduled a visit so that the technician would arrive within a couple of hours. The technician, Friday, was a virtual Sherlock Holmes, investigated the possible problems, found it, and repaired it. Very pleased with their service.

Great people and great work. Willing to take necessary time to explain all work to customers. Melissa was great at getting us scheduled and Maurice and Devon did great work. All three were great communicators.

We had our electrical panel replaced by Beacon Home Services. Their team, dispatcher Melissa and technicians Kevin & Nathan, worked very efficiently and made the process painless. I felt that they were very knowledgeable with the local jurisdictional regulations, had a good grasp of what needed to be done and what to include in the scope of work. There were no surprises or hidden fees.

An electrician came the morning after I called, and he efficiently installed an outside light, fixed a light switch, converted several outlets to three-prong outlets, and fixed loose outlets. It was great to get all those tasks done so quickly and easily.

Beacon did a great job! I had them install an outdoor outlet, swap out a 240v outlet and install a whole house surge protector. They were prompt in responding to my request for an estimate (sending out an electrician on Saturday to accommodate my work schedule). Milton, my electrician, was prompt, friendly, and thorough. He explained everything he was doing, both before and after the work. And the price was reasonable—almost $1,000 less than the big local electrical/plumbing/AC company I tried first, and all of that with a 10-year parts and labor warranty.

Excellent service, completed the job the first service and got everything running. All necessary parts were accessible and did not have to wait. Chris did an outstanding job. Would highly recommend this company.

We called Beacon Home Services after finding them on Angi’s list. We had a light that needed fixing and two outlets that weren’t working. Kevin came for the diagnostic and to fix the issues when we decided to proceed with the work. Kevin is a polite, professional electrical technician and showed a clear dedication to doing a good job (even if it meant going into our cramped crawl space to identify the problem). We also really appreciated how the company listened to us when we gave them several different numbers to call to manage my and my husband’s schedules and giving us an extra long call ahead for added flexibility. All in all, we had a great experience with Beacon Home Services and with Kevin in particular.

He replaced several outdoor lights at my home by [day 1] removing the existing (aging) lights and weatherproofing the connections since we needed a few days for the new replacement lights to be ordered and delivered and then [day 2] installing and testing the new lighting. I plan to use Beacon Home Services for future needs and I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Chris M did a fantastic job at our home, doing everything from installing new exterior light fixtures and updating kitchen and dining room lights to installing a new ceiling fan to installing smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and fixing dimmer switches. The entire process was smooth. Candis responded promptly and handled the coordination professionally. Nelson and Nathan installed the electrical outlets in my garage, and they did truly excellent, high-quality work.

Beacon Home Services was the first business I called after the gas company came out and shut off our gas due to a leak. Mack was the technician on site and was honest and helpful. He thoroughly explained the repair and provided a backup plan in case he couldn’t get to the leak. Unfortunately he was booked through the week so we had to wait about 4 days without gas but it was worth it! He was able to find the leak within the first 20 minutes upon arrival! I will absolutely call Beacon and Mack for any future repairs (hopefully it’s not soon). Thank you so much!

The response time was wonderful. The communication was great. The electrician, Chris, was professional and personable throughout the process. He explained every step of the procedures he conducted. He provided relevant information and answered questions that were posed to him. We were able to laugh together because my wife and I had never received such a detailed report about any tradesman coming to our home previously. I first spoke to Megan on the phone when calling and she tried very hard to see if she could help use solve the problem before having to send someone out, and when that became impossible she made sure to send someone asap, which was the next morning. Christian Fohm Nampe was the electrician sent, and he was very kind, quick and precise. He listened to the story of what was going wrong very patiently and handled repairing many of my lights with efficiency. The only reason I am not giving a 4 5* is because it was rather expensive. It cost $350 for an hour of work, which is pretty crazy. And that was for a small amount of troubleshooting. The price would’ve been $750 if the troubleshooting had to be more expansive. If they can give a more reasonable cost then I would recommend them to anyone. Otherwise I only recommend them if you have the extra spending money.

Beacon Home Services is on a higher level than other hv/ac companies I’ve worked with. From initial contact, to providing a competitive bid on a timely basis you couldn’t expect much more. Mack, the technician on the initial proposal as well as on the installation, provided a very thorough explanation of the installation process. The job was completed on time and as promised. The company also has very competent back office support. Our customer support representatives (Mary) kept us informed on initial scheduling and follow up when the job was completed. All in all, I couldn’t ask for a better experience on an installation that only occurs once every twenty to twenty five years.

Recently had Nelson Mota out to fix an outside outlet. He was knowledgeable, personable and professional. This is my second time using Beacon Home Services and had Nelson both times. Will request only him in the future! Also had wet carpet in our basement. Zak came after hours to determine the problem. It was clear from the time Zak walked in the door that he knew what he was doing. He assessed all possible causes and figured out it was the neighbor’s a/c unit leaking, saving us from numerous holes in our drywall! Now I have a plumbing expert and an electrician I can request by name when calling Beacon!

He was fast and informed and very professional. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Rebecca scheduled our appointment right away and Hernain was very professional and respectful, as well as very knowledgeable, handling our electrical needs quickly and easily. Extremely good experience. I called them late yesterday and an appointment was set for the next day. I was contacted by text to let me know when they would arrive, even providing a photo of our service tech, Joshua, and his background! Joshua was polite, professional, and knew exactly what the problem was and provided a reasonable estimate for the repair, offering a couple of solutions from which to pick. He fixed the problem quickly. He was very respectful of our property, even donning shoe covers before walking in the house. Excellent service!

Chris was back to complete the electrical work for my water heater install. The service was scheduled quickly and the work was excellent. Chris is very clear in communicating his expert knowledge and making sure you know exactly what’s going to be done. His work is always efficient, clean, and comprehensive.

My outdoor lamp post had an issue which caused it to stay on through the day. Craig came out and immediately diagnosed that that the issue was a bad sensor caused by water. He not only replaced the sensor but also performed a preventive step by sealing around the sensor to prevent the issue from reoccurring. I was totally satisfied with Craig's professional service.

The electrician who arrived was honest, worked to fit pricing within my budget, and completed the work almost to my complete satisfaction. Unfortunately he left a mess of dust all over my bathroom, including on toothbrushes and other items on the sink, leaving me with a significant clean-up job.

A few years ago we were having difficulties with several outlets and switches in our house and the problems were found and corrected on the first visit. Dentist pint in we’ve used Beacon Services for out electrical repair. Today Chris followed up on our yearly inspection and upgraded our kitchen lighting, installed new circuit breakers and put in multiple smoke alarms. Shout out to Rebecca and the whole crew at Beacon. Next project is plumbing.

Called Beacon to help with an issue with my electrical socket. They came out same day. Courteous and professional staff who immediately diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within 20 mins. Huge relief. Would highly recommend.

My bathroom exhaust fun was not working. I try to call many electricians from the web but not successful. But when I called Beacon home services with free estimates they send Chris the next day. He fixed it with less than an hour. fast and effective.

Kelvin and Nathan did a wonderful job installing my home EV charger. They added a dedicated circuit to my panel and ran a line from the opposite side of my house in a way that required minimal disruption to my drywall. They explained the system thoroughly and were responsive to my questions. They are nice guys too.

Scheduling was very easy - we called on a Friday and by Monday morning we had Bryce come to install a new ceiling fan in our home with a remote. They were responsive via text as to when we could expect our technician and Bryce was very personable and efficient with his work. Great service for our electrical work in the attic. Very professional and efficient! Nelson did a fantastic job and Marvin was a great helper.

We had a ceiling fan installed in a room with no prior fan. It was a success! Gabriel was very quick (1 hr) and clean with the installation (covered objects in room with tarp), and he was very nice. Rebecca made scheduling very simple and followed up to keep us in the loop as needed and made sure everything was good. She was very pleasant to communicate with.

Zach Furney, a Plumbing technician with Beacon home services came because I had a leak from a clogged toilet. He gave me all my options as well as least expensive solutions. He found out we just moved so he took the time to teach me about our new well water filtration systems necessary maintenance. He didn’t act rushed and patiently and throughly answered all of our questions about our new homes plumbing and maintenance. He examined all of our water filtration system and its components. He also told me how all it worked and what I had. He gave me helpful tips such as don’t fill the pool with well because it will empty it completely and we wouldn’t have water for the year if we made that mistake. We have a membership with Beacon and are beyond impressed with their customer service and ability to provide us with an appointment quickly same day as we call or next day. They are a must have resource for home needs.

A long story. Complete re-piping of 50 year old townhouse and repairing drains. Short assessment --i trust the work of the plumbers--John and Zach. I don't think much of their software/front office systems--they don't provide much value. So five stars for the plumbers, three for office.

Near the end of December, my hot water heater sprang several leaks on a Sunday. In my attempt to locate a plumber that could possibly come out, I made numerous calls. Beacon just happened to be one of the responders. The following day, Andre showed up and assessed the problem. He gave me a quote to replace the hot water heater along with one other recommendation. I called the office that afternoon to set up the project. Andre showed up the following morning as planned. He told me it would take about 3 hours to complete the project. He actually finished earlier. When I came in to see the new hot water heater and all that he had done, I was pleasantly surprised. His work was excellent, down to the cleaning up after he had finished. He took the time to explain what was done abd a few installations that my previous hot water did not have. I could tell he enjoys his work, and, for me, that was a plus! Thank you Beacon for excellent service! Well done. 9 Sep 2025: needed some electrical work done and redoing a new outlet for a 20 amp circuit. A simple task for me, but wanted it done by a professional, which I always can rely on Beacon. They sent out Nelson Mota, who did a wonderful job. Did a quick troubleshoot to confirm what I had done in research researching the Wiring and then professionally installed a new switch and rerouted wires to make it look clean And efficient. I recently had a Tesla home charger installed, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The team was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They explained the installation process clearly, handled all the wiring and setup with great attention to detail, and ensured everything was neat and safe. After the job was done, they tested the charger with me, walked me through how to use it, and made sure I was comfortable with the setup. I thought the review below from earlier this year had already been posted but apparently not since I had a follow up visit today. I couldn’t get an outside outlet to work , so I called Beacon again. Milton came out within two business days ( I wasn’t available the next day) and walked through the problem, a ground fault switch in the garage I had not checked. Brief, competent and courteous. Can’t ask for better Called Beacon to replace three broken electrical outlets and an estimate on upgrading my electrical panel. Milton appeared and pointed out several small items (other plugs and switches)in addition that needed attention to comply with current code. He also advised what needed to be done to upgrade the electrical panel. I deferred the panel upgrade but had him do the other work. He and his assistant Gabriel came back the next day to finish the work, including about 30 switches and outlets, some ground fault ones, for a reasonable package price. Milton also noticed my Ring video doorbell had visible wire from my do it yourself job a few years ago, and fixed that as well. He and Gabriel worked hard and efficiently and completed the job in about 4 hours. The office dispatche Rebecca kept me timely informed about their expected arrival times. We’ll done by all.

And I can emphatically say that our experience with Beacon Home Services for the unfortunate emergency replacement of our electrical panel in our home was a fantastic experience….well, when you have to spend $$ in an unexpected, oh my word that needs to be done now, kind of an experience. 🤣 But in all seriousness, in this day and age it can be difficult to find not only excellent customer service, but to find an extremely talented individual in their craft. So I felt compelled to write this to make sure if anyone needing electrical service is reading this trying to find a good company to help with their electrical service, please immediately call Beacon and ask them to send out Nelson Mota. Because Nelson, and his highly competent and skilled assistant Davin, was phenomenal in the assessment and execution of our emergency panel replacement. These two gentlemen worked extremely hard and expediently on our job and we were very appreciative of their obvious skill, professionalism and the pride in which both of them took in their work. We will absolutely not hesitate to contact Beacon and ask for Nelson (or Davin) again if we need electrical help. Thank you again, gentlemen!
