My hot water heater failed and needed replacement. Beacon Home Services sent a representative to my house to assess the repair cost and give me an estimate. Their estimate was high, but they were willing to negotiate, and we reached agreement on the price. Chris was a knowledgeable tradesman/plumber and had a great personality - he explained the code changes which now require a pan under the water heater, and an alarm to be placed in the pan to detect water. He did a thorough job, and i am well pleased with his workmanship and attitude. I recommend Beacon Home Services; just get other estimates and negotiate their price.

Friday came by to fix my doorbell and was very knowledgeable. Fixed my buzzing issue in 2 seconds and replaced my whole doorbell system in less than 30 minutes. Going to call him for any future issues.

My upper level toilet leaked and it went through my ceiling and to floors below. So i needed a plumber to investigate and fix! I went to Angi’s list and Beacon was recommended. I received a call. They mentioned that you pay for the job and not by the hour! Mary called telling me of the appointment! She didn’t see any issue with dehumidifiers in the bathroom. Sean arrived on time and friendly as can be! Didn’t mind stepping over my mess! He showed me replacement options. He worked carefully and thoroughly! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 service! I’d use Beacon again!

Number 5! Shawn arrived on time and prepared to work. After I described the nature of my call to Beacon Home Services, he explained in detail what his next step would be in determining my electrical problem. Shawn proceeded to trace down the kitchen wiring and took the time to check each and every receptacle in my house. Long story short, Shawn was able to locate the problem and make the appropriate repairs..My hose was left spotless and everything placed back where it belonged. Bryce,, my electrician was such a pleasant and intelligent young man. He was very communicative and friendly through out the whole process! Part of my project was very teadious. However, Bryce was determined to figure out how to get my hand made pendant lights that I purchased in another country to work. After he hung my pendants lights, je stayed later until every job was completed! 😇🤗

We had a clogged main line and the plumber took the time to let us know what he was doing, what it would entail, and what he was seeing at each step. It took some effort but he was able to clear the line and get us back up and running. Really pleased with the effort and results.

Noticed dripping outdoor spigots after winter, so called out various companies for quotes. Worked with Zach from Beacon and chose their company because of how knowledgeable and personal he was when discussing everything needed (and not needed) for the repairs. Highly recommend Beacon, and especially Zach. They were able to triage, fix, and install new piping/outdoor spigot in under a couple hours on a single days notice.

Our electrician, Bryce, from Beacon Home Services was OUTSTANDING!! He was presentable, professional, courteous, and he explained his process and what-if scenarios in advance of doing any work or touching anything. He quickly had a look at our concern area (blown outlets in kitchen and dining room), explained how electrical outlets operate in terms of in and out wiring, and why some are connected together and some right next to them are not. Thankfully he found the issue inside of an outlet box in our kitchen backsplash. Small, simple fix, but we also asked him to add a GFCI outlet in the kitchen since we didn’t have one. He left and went to Home Depot to get one and came back in 20 minutes and completed the job. He was SUPER knowledgeable and clearly a skilled technician/electrician. I would absolutely use Beacoj again, and request Bryce! Also, Mary from the main office staff was extremely helpful, responsive, also courteous and pleasant. Very happy with Beacon and their free estimate offer – a big plus in my book. As I mentioned to Jonathan, I am shopping around. I was very impressed with him his knowledge and his abilities articulate the services that Beacon offers such as I believe it was interest free for 18 months. That’s a pretty good promotion. I should be getting back to you all by next week whether I pull the trigger for somebody like Jonathan or somebody else to complete all the tax that we covered.

I had a circuit go out after getting my deck power washed. What made it critical was the circuit included a secondary refrigerator I have in my garage. Beacon and Rebecca was able to arrange a same day visit to trouble shoot and rectify the problem. Our Beacon technician, Hernain, quickly diagnosed the problem (water from the power washing had gotten into the outside outlets shorting the circuit out) and offered solutions and corrected the problem, including replacing the outside plugs, which as it turned out weren't even rated for outside use.

Outlet issue. Kelvin came out and diagnosed the issue and fixed the outlet within an hour. He was quick professional and explain what the issue was and provided suggestions to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

Craig was AWESOME - very professional, thorough and responsive. Reviewed whole home hard wired and battery operated smoke/CO detectors/alarms, patiently provided information, answered all my questions (many) and recommended a replacement plan with best options to update required devices and ensure protection and safety. Appreciated the military discount (5%) and trip/service call applied to work done, and even better , the 10% discount with Priority Service Lighthouse Club Membership (annual) for a nominal additional fee. Nice! Very pleased with the service delivery overall, including the after hours answering team) few things worse than alarms going off all night! And getting a calm pro to help schedule a visit asap to help), competent and kind follow up for same day service arrangements and arrival updates via text, and then top notch performance from Craig. I own a small condo and I hired Beacon Home Services to replace my electrical panel. The panel location is in a really tight area and a traditional 14" panel didn't work. Christian F from Beacon came up with an excellent solution to a very complex problem. Finding the right size panel to fit in the area and to fit all the necessary breakers. The first guy i hired screwed it up big time, but Beacon Home Services fixed it all up masterfully. Really appreciate the work they did. My neighbor has been thinking about redoing his in the future and will definately recommend Christian F and Beacon to tend to his needs. Thanks again!

Beacon is a great company. Not only do they do great work, but schedule the work efficient, keep me informed of technician arrival time via phone and text. No guesswork. The work is outstanding. Wayne fixed our outdoor hose bib and modernized plumbing in our 1970s home. Taught us things, explained work. Hernain solved our electrical mystery of ceiling lights flashing while using the microwave. He was our ‘2nd opinion electrician’ and he worked all morning diagnosing the problem. Found it, fixed it, reinforcements Darrell arrived to help move our wall oven out to correctly re-wire our microwave. Phew. No more electrical worries. He also explained LED use in our home. Everyone is knowledgeable and explains everything. All in all, we are very pleased with the company, the work, and especially the staff. EDIT - Unfortunately this pipe was not actually repaired, and there were 3 other cracks that went unseen by the technician. We had a different technician come out, and he was knowledgable as well, however, neither we nor our insurance agent have been able to get in touch with Beacon for weeks to acquire the documentation needed to complete the claim and reimbursement to start repairs. We've called Beacon several times and have been promised to have the documentation emailed, but they have yet to follow-up with us with this information. I am disappointed in what seemed to be a good service ultimately turning into a negative experience. I would appreciate if a Beacon team member could follow up with us ASAP. Presently, I would not recommend this service based on the lack of repair on the original pipe and the lack of customer service. If we could rate Mike (Michael) 10 stars, we would! A pipe in our basement leading to the outside hose hookup snapped clean in half, resulting in our flooring and drywalls flooding. Beacon was incredibly responsive and sent over a technician who was more than reliable and knowledgeable. He walked us through the issue in real time, and taught us about the principal cause of the leak. Beacon works closely with Service Pros, who were also able to come out quickly for water and mold remediation. They are great guys who do conduct great business!

Great service rep and easy fix for our toilet.

I don't normally leave reviews, but Amy and Andres at Beacon Home Services did an excellent job repairing my tankless water heater and replacing my well pressure tank. Andres (technician) was personable, knowledgable and extremely capable in assessing and mitigating my water issues. Amy (manager) was attentive to my questions and concerns and prompt in getting answers and arranging making sure the process ran smoothly. Together they turned a tough situation into a positive outcome. Thanks to both of you!

We had a floor drain backed up which Chris Wilson came out to help us with. Wish it was just a simple drain cleaning as Chris had that fixed quickly. When further inspection with a camera in the mainline showed a root had grown through, Chris was also helpful and knowledgeable in getting this major repair underway. Would highly recommend him. I appreciated Mary taking care of us in scheduling and coordinating our appointments. It was a stressful time, but it was helpful to have updates from her.

Fire Dept detected gas leak. Called Beacon after hours. Plumber Chris Wilson came over in the evening. Completely and expertly fixed leak. Kept us apprised every step of the way about price, issue to be fixed, resolution. And gave us some advice on how to use our shower! We’ve contacted Beacon once before, to fix our kitchen faucet issues, and they did a great job, thus we called them again. After Chris’ visit, they are now our “go-to”. Thanks so much! Had a great experience with Beacon recently when we had a major problem at my business office. I contacted this company on last minute notice and they did not disappoint. I had an issue with a bathroom valve leak and an old widespread faucet that was almost impossible to remove. Jerson came within the window of time that was given to me the night before. He was excellent. Very professional, personable, helpful, and knowledgeable. I didn’t feel like we got hustled from a pricing standpoint either. It was reasonable. Would highly recommend and will use them again when needed.

My wife and I recently contacted Beacon Home Services to schedule an appointment for electrical services to install a new ceiling fan and replace a faulty toggle switch. What a day! Had an early appointment elsewhere and couldn’t make it back home for my original appointment with Beacon Home Services. Thankfully, when I notified Rebecca of my predicament, she worked with me to ensure that I could still have my service today at a time that was more convenient for me. Rebecca was patient and kept me apprised of Kelvin’s status en route to my house. Kelvin showed up on time and replaced my wired smoke detector. I recently hired Beacon Home Services to install a 50-amp circuit and disconnect for my hot tub and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience from start to finish. I would recommend Beacon Home Services. I recently had several electrical projects completed by them (ceiling recessed lights, an outlet, and the main breaker panel replaced). Working with Rebecca, Amy and Katie in the front office was seamless, from scheduling the original estimate to the last county inspection. Texting and/or calling with updates to keep me in the loop was very efficient. The electrician, Friday, explained everything that needed to be done, gave an accurate estimate of the time necessary to complete, was punctual, cleaned-up any messes, and the final work looked neat and polished. This was a big job so I took advantage of the 0% financing option which was easy to execute.

Called to repair a leaky faucet and the technician found rusted main valves and expansion tank. Replaced corroded pieces and fixed the faucet. Job well done. Will be using them again when the need arises. New jobs: 1) replaced a “washer box” (the water supply for the washing machine) and (2) replaced the dryer outlet and circuit breakers for the dryer. Both jobs completed quickly and efficiently

I had a lot of work done by Beacon Electric AND Plumbing since 2020. Recently, Zach and Joey did a great job fixing my pool panel and installing a new sub-panel; Andrei completed my hot tub install and conduit routing with expertise. For plumbing, Eric corrected past owners “self tapping” installs and professionally installed a new water line and shutoff for my fridge! Well done. 9 Sep 2025: needed some electrical work done and redoing a new outlet for a 20 amp circuit. A simple task for me, but wanted it done by a professional, which I always can rely on Beacon. They sent out Nelson Mota, who did a wonderful job. Did a quick troubleshoot to confirm what I had done in research researching the Wiring and then professionally installed a new switch and rerouted wires to make it look clean And efficient. Absolutely happy with the work that Bryce and Mary with Beacon did for us. Mary was great with getting us scheduled for an estimate all the way through completion of our project. When he found out that it was going to take a couple of days to deliver the toilet, he came up with another option and got the toilet the same day. Craig and Jonathan came out to provide expert service to verify some some outdoor electrical work was done correctly and in accordance with code for an upcoming inspection. Will and Tyler handled the electrical panel and generator installation. Luis and Cesar dealt with the gas meter upgrade and gas connections. They all took time to explain the project and answer questions in an understandable way. They were punctual, respectful of property, and approachable. In addition, the office support staff promptly notified us of scheduling details. From conception to completion, the Beacon team’s expertise was critical to the success of the project. Postscript: The day after Will and Tyler activated our new generator, the power went out in our neighborhood. The generator received its first call to action. It Hummmmmmed!

I first used Beacon Home Services 2 years ago when I got a quote from another company that seemed too high. I was really happy with the work, professionalism, and the price point of a small electrical job that I then rehired them for a much larger electrical job right away. Yesterday I called them to see if they would be available for a plumbing project to get ahead of a large winter storm and not only were they available but Mary was very helpful in accommodating my schedule preferences. The technician, Jonathan was very polite, was quick to understand the issues I wanted addressed, gave me various options and explained them thoroughly. He worked quickly and cleanly and I’m very happy with the work. I will definitely be contacting them again for any future work I need completed. Update March 2026: I just had Beacon Home Services replace my water heater and they were excellent as usual. Easy to schedule for when I had a free morning, arrived on time, worked quickly and cleanly, and the price was exactly as expected from a previous estimate.

We are very happy with Beacon Home Services. Craig was timely, efficient, and very knowledgeable. I had a ring system hardware to my home. The tech named Craig was extremely knowledgeable answering all of our questions. He ensured the system was working on both iPhones. My spouse was happy with the fact that he cleaned up after himself. Particularly noteworthy is that he exchange a part because the ring system is more powerful and the current part attached to the electric box make start a fire as it can handle the new voltage. I n my view, it was a job well done!!! Cracked the siding on the house a little: however, he caulked it up.

If we could rate Mike (Michael) 10 stars, we would! A pipe in our basement leading to the outside hose hookup snapped clean in half, resulting in our flooring and drywalls flooding. Beacon was incredibly responsive and sent over a technician who was more than reliable and knowledgeable. He walked us through the issue in real time, and taught us about the principal cause of the leak. Beacon works closely with Service Pros, who were also able to come out quickly for water and mold remediation. They are great guys who do conduct great business!

I needed my electrical panel replaced and called a few companies for quotes. Beacon was the first company to schedule for an estimate. They sent Cristian and he immediately understood my needs. He also recommended a solution that was better than I thought could be done. He gave me a few estimates with different options. I got a few more vendor estimates. The costs were all over the place between $2K and $12K. However, none of the other vendors understood the issues like Cristian. Beacon’s estimates were competitive, especially for what was included. A couple days later, I called to schedule the work to be done. I spoke with the manager Kristina. She was great and moved things around to accommodate my scheduling needs. Cristian came out to do the work. It was a day job. He got it all done exactly as we discussed. He was very professional and did great work. I am very happy with result and would recommend Beacon.
