Beacon Home Services (Virginia) just completed repairing water-damaged electrical box. Everything was fantastic. Starting with Rebecca in the office who facilitated scheduling, kept me informed and probably a zillion other things I didn’t even see. Then electrician Chassidy took it from there with prompt, professional and expert repair service. It was an extensive and expensive repair, but price was competitive (I checked).

We were very pleased with Beacon Home Services. Stephanie was very responsive and pleasant in setting up our appointment taking care to arrange a timely appointment that fit into our busy schedule. We were notified in advance of the electricians arrival. The electrician, Chris, was very professional and personable, diagnosed the problem quickly, was very efficient and neat in his work. We were all around very pleased with the service.

We recently arranged to have an EV charger installed in our garage and decided it was also time to have our 25 year-old electrical panel "organized" and brought up to our county's current codes. This was all work that our Beacon electrician, Kelvin Rivera, handled with efficiency and professionalism. This was NOT a small job and took major coordination with the county permit office as well as NOVEC. Our experience working with Kelvin and the gentlemen who assisted him, (Maurice & Devon) as well as the office staff who kept us updated about the permit process and inspections, was managed beautifully. Most impressive to both my husband & myself was the courteous and respectful way we were treated throughout! Kelvin in particular, treated us like "family". No one "likes" having to pay for electrical "fixes" in their home BUT it is RARE when the need arises to find an electrician that is so professional and KIND that you don't mind paying those bills so much. We joined Beacon's Lighthouse Club because this was such a positive experience!

Technican Craig show up on time as promised. Craig seems to know his craft. Craig testing on all the switches n outlet also the circuit breaker box. Craig pin point why the lights did not comes on because few switches was damaged . Craig replaced 8 switches and the light came back on. Over all we are satisfied with Craig performance. Also thanks to Rebecca inform us the status with pur tech arriveful time. We had good experience with Beacon.

Really appreciated their honesty and integrity! Updated June 2024: just had Paul and Jeffrey out to fix some plumbing issues (fixing previous work done by general contractor). They were AMAZING! I've been doing a home renovation for the last 5 months. I've been using Beacon for all my electrical needs. From the first time they came to install new fixtures and outlets to redoing the lighting in my kitchen, the two technicians have been nothing but exemplary. The two techs, Lead: William and his apprentice Andre are the best contractors I've ever worked with. (And I've worked with many). The knowledge Will has, and the recommendations he has given us have saved us a lot of many in the long run and improved the home's current lighting situation 10 fold. Beacon has very fair prices, but more importantly their workmanship and warranty is EXCELLENT as well. Top marks no question about it. They have showed up on time every single time and completed the work pretty much in exactly how long they estimate it to take. If you need any type of electrical work done you can't do on your own, don't hesitate to call Beacon, make sure you ask for Will and Andre. If all you care about is the cheapest option and you don't care if the work is done well and backed up then keep it moving but remember this: If you know the price of everything but the value of nothing, then you are a salesman's preferred customer. A special shout out to Candice and Zach ad well! And this company does not do business like that.

Rebecca was very professional and keeping me informed about the technicians coming to my resident. Craig and the other technician identified the issue I was having and was able to correct. There were also other issues were identified that I need to correctd Different proposals were given that I will pursue from Beacon.

So far so good. Hot water heater was replaced during the day; Wayne Gaither did almost all the work by himself, just a helper to bring parts and physically move the tanks. He added a drip pan and condenser. Still waiting on the county to approve the installation though Wayne says the county would be idiots to not approve. Famous last words. Sticker shock at nearly $4k to replace the tank. Cost is high like everything in MoCo so pay no attention to any published “averages”. I think the price was fair the area. Yes I would use Beacon again.

I chose Beacon Home Services for a few plumbing projects after reading many positive reviews on various sites about their work, and they truly lived up to their strong reputation. Scheduling was a breeze – Candis reached out to me promptly and was able to schedule an on-site estimate convenient to my schedule. On the morning of my appointment, they sent a photo of the technician along with a brief bio, which I felt was a nice touch. Cesar arrived at the scheduled appointment time and was very friendly, professional, and courteous. I discussed the projects with him, and he was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and provided a detailed estimate. Work was scheduled for the following week, and Cesar and Luis both arrived on time and did excellent work. Luis was also friendly, professional, and courteous, and both were well-skilled. They kept me informed on the progress and kept the work areas clean throughout the project; and Candis reached out several times a day to ask how things were going. I am extremely impressed with the quality of their work and their professionalism throughout. Beacon is a top-notch company, and I will definitely use them for future projects. Hernain Martinez was professional and knowledgeable. He made some excellent recommendations in regard to safety as well fixed the mystery electrical issues I was having in my home. Milton and Gabriel came to the house and got right to work. They were professional, efficient, and super friendly. It was a bit of a tight spot to install an outlet in a remote part of our attic but they dug in there and made it happen. Really nice guys. And the scheduler Rebecca was fantastic in letting us know when they would arrive so we could plan the rest of our day. I was very impressed with Beacon and will keep their card handy for future projects.

This was a great experience. John Katsiotis of Beacon Home Services came to fix a very challenging task. A bolt had rusted out and broke off in a pvc pipe in our bathroom. I thought there was a less than likely chance it could be repaired without tearing out a bathtub, but he succeeded! It was marvelous to witness. John is a really expert plumber and I highly recommend him and Beacon Home Services.

Will and Tyler did a great job on installing a new circuit and upgrading the circuit panel to accommodate it with new breaker switches. Very neat and efficient. Rebecca also did a great job keeping us informed of their arrival. I will continue using Beacon for my electrical needs. Great company. I’m very pleased.

In two separate visits Beacon helped us with following services: - They installed Ring Floodlight and Doorbell security cams for us for this it was great working with Rebecca & Mr. Friday - They replaced 240v damaged dryer socket and 4 wire dryer cord, for this it was great working with Rebecca and Nelson M. On both occasions we had great and prompt communication right from appointment setup to work completion, they were precise and efficient with work. Thank you, Beacon.

John Katsiotis (plumbing) and Hernain Martinez (electrical) both provided excellent service during my annual plumbing and electrical inspection. They both provided solid recommendations for me to consider to keep my plumbing and electrical up to speed.

I had a worrying situation with an outlet that I really wanted taken care of quickly. I called Beacon because they offer same-day service, but they ended up being so fast I was surprised. They sent me a text with a picture of my technician, Shawn, with a little info and bio. My paranoid self really appreciated that one. Shawn was super nice, thorough, explained everything and was done in like 10 minutes. Awesome. The price was super reasonable, and most importantly I was spared any further nights worrying that my house is going to burn down. We'll definitely be using Beacon again and will recommend them to others!

Very professional and thoroughly explained what needed to be done. My mom was having an issue with her kitchen faucet and we wanted to make sure she was taken care of. We are still trying to make decisions on which of the four options they provided to see how it fits in our budget.

I had a great experience with Beacon Home Services for electrical and plumbing work. The wiring in our panel was fried, which broke our water heater. The team replaced the water heater, ensured the electrical was working correctly, and installed a recirculation pump—now we get near-instant hot water instead of waiting some time for the water to get hot. From the start, Candis and Rebecca were highly responsive and kept me informed about scheduling. Milton thoroughly explained the electrical issues and took care of addressing them, and Luis worked diligently to test everything, answer my questions, and ensure our system was working perfectly. Initially, the pricing was higher than we expected, but becoming a member helped reduce costs, which was very helpful to us. Overall, I really appreciate their professionalism. Now we have improved electrical and a brand new water heater with a recirculation pump. Thank you!

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Beacon Home Services for my electrician needs for a number of years now and have always been quite satisfied. Sometime back I had purchased some very expensive crystal chandeliers for my home and Mr. Friday did a wonderful job installing them. Mr. Friday came back this time for a whole laundry list of little things that I needed done. Rebecca was fantastic in Coordinating the scheduling and Mr. Friday is at the top of this game in knowing how to get things fixed. I couldn’t be happier. Good value for the money!

Beacon was the 3rd plumber hired and actually fixed several problems. The first two fixed nothing but charged anyway! Cesar the plumber was professional and really cared to find and fix things and Candis in the office was excellent in keeping us informed. Kelvin Rivera was very polite, professional, and easy to work with. Kelvin came for water heater issue with the switch and also identified and fixed the dryer issue that we have been struggling with. Kelvin also answered all of our questions and explained why the problem was happening, what was the cause and the items needed to fix it. We highly recommend Kelvin and Beacon for electrical type work for reliable and reusable, high quality professional to fix our issues. Hopefully we dont have major electrical issues in the future, but if they do occur because of old wiring, we will be calling Kelvin at Beacon services again.

Amazing service!

I put in a request for service on Saturday and was immediately contacted and an appointment was set up for Monday. The technician arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem and, after consulting with me about the cost of the repair, replaced the bad GFCI outlet. I thought the service was great and the repair cost reasonable. I am very satisfied with Beacon and will use them again if I have electrical our plumbing needs at my home.

Kelvin did a fantastic job. I put it off for years. It is done in hours and now can enjoy it. I probably would continue to put it off. So glad I called Beacon

My husband and I needed electrical work done in our 1940’s house. Rebecca was instrumental in getting us on the schedule in a timely manner as well as following up after the work was completed. Hernain Martinez was assigned to perform the initial assessment. He inspected the house noting the essential work that ought to be done without any upselling. Hernain was professional and extremely knowledgeable of his craft. Although the work would take two days, he explained step-by-step how he planned to perform the work without any major disruption to our household. Hernain arrived on time on the scheduled day with all of the tools he needed to get the job started including an assistant, Nelson Mota. Nelson was also professional and extremely knowledgeable of his craft. Hernain and Nelson methodically performed each task seamlessly although they did hit a glitch with some old wiring. It took a little time but Hernain and Nelson troubleshooted and corrected the problem. Hernain and Nelson completed the work in a timely manner both days. They were a pleasure to work with and I would hire them again for my future electrical needs.

Excellent response, Beacon sent David same day that we called for a vexing electrical issue. Compared to my experience with other providers, he was extremely helpful and patient in explaining the situation after thorough examination. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they kept having to cancel the appointments for our initial visit. It was frustrating to have to wait an additional two days when we were already desperate to have our washer fixed. But the people we worked with were great. The installation went very smoothly and the technicians were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Milton and Gabriel were quick efficient and let me watch them work so I could understand and learn how things were done. Glad they were able to get upgrade the electrical panel from 150 to 200 amp service, change the meter, and instal the fireman's kill switch in one day. Also to my surprise electricians do clean up after themselves and show up to work in the snow.
