Technician was knowledgeable addressed current needs

Beacon coming through again with a winner! My service provider Mike showed up on time and prepared. Professionally thorough in his communication as well as active listening when I had something to say. Effective communicator and curious problem solver. Breaks things down in layman's terms and asks questions. In my particular case I had a sink water line break in my child's upstairs bathroom suddenly and soaked all of my sheetrock and started dripping down into my dining area. After shutting my main water off and calling beacon on a Sunday they assured me they could have someone out 8:00 in the morning on Monday. I drained the water in the now ever increasing bubble in my ceiling preventing a collapse ... The next morning Mike showed up on time and ready to get after it. He gave me the courtesy of giving him a tour into the damaged areas listened intently as I described the steps taken and past history of the house and was patient. After showing him the upstairs it was confirmed the sink water line had burst and my suspicions were validated. Mike quickly got to work downstairs in the dining area exposing the pipes and eliminating the wet sheet rock, to which and he solved an unexpected future problem, significant corrosion on the paralleled ran copper lines and quoted me line removal drywall removal and water inspection check. Received a detailed report no more than 10 minutes after he had finished and walked me through his work. Could not have been happier with the service or the willingness to provide unfiltered information. Honesty is key when owning a house and dealing with services of upkeep. Beacon is 3-peat service provider in my household, which was built 38 years ago.

Rebecca sent Kelvin out to my house today to give me an idea on what i needed to install a 240v/50a outlet. Turns out my 200a circuit could not support what I needed. Kelvin was super knowledgeable about the breaker box and what i had. He said I should not install it without upgrading the service... just not safe. Being a firefighter/paramedic the last thing I want is an electrical fire in my house. Thanks for the eval!!

He assisted us in ensuring that the system we selected was the one that resolved our water issues. His installation was outstanding. He took the time to review with us how the system worked and answered all of our questions. We have used them for several other jobs and always received outstanding service. Outstanding service from the Beacon Team. Rebecca was incredibly helpful in setting up the service call and when an earlier spot opened up Rebecca called to see if I wanted it (I did). The technician, Shawn answered all my questions and walked me through all aspects of the electrical work that needed to be done. I truly appreciate that Rebecca moved my appointment up by a day because there was an issue that could have become worse if it had not been addressed. Shawn was able to fix the problem the same day. Michael came out for an annual plumbing inspection.and was terrific! I highly recommend these inspections. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. He noticed small issues that are easily fixed that could lead to big expensive problems if not addressed in a timely manner. He also shut off the water to my outside faucets so the pipes won’t freeze during the winter months, something I forgot to do. He gave me estimates on all of the work, helped me to prioritize what should be done now and what can wait, and informed me about Beacon’s new financing options if I want to spread out the payments. He was very knowledgeable about plumbing and different options for addressing concerns and replacing parts and equipment. As a “lighthouse member “, I receive a free annual plumbing inspection and electrical inspection, and it is well worth it. Thank you Beacon!

Upgraded lighting in unfinished basement. The technician provided excellent advise on the number, type and placement of the new light fixtures. The installation was performed to my full satisfaction.

Gabriel replaced my dining room chandelier and installed an appropriate outlet near my washing machine. He was friendly and professional.

Gabriel was professional and confident. The fire department was at our house the night before and said all alarms had green lights and seemed fine. ( Our problem was ALL the alarms were going off about 4x a day) Gabriel found 3 alarms with no green lights , replaced them and we have had no problem since.

Maurice and Devin were super professional. They walked me through everything they were doing. They even came out a few days before Christmas to fix a ceiling fan in our living room before we hosted for Christmas. They were very easy to work with and listened to my feedback to ensure everything worked as I wanted it to. We already addressed some additional work that may need doing and wouldn’t think twice about contacting them again.

I scheduled installation of a light fixture in my basement. The old one was broken and had been improperly installed previously. Mr. Friday quickly assessed the need for better installation and suggested that the fixture should be moved slightly to optimize the lighting. The work was professionally completed and done quickly. I was also informed accurately about the technicians arrival time.

Had new toilet installed along with haul away. Additionally had water heater flushed.

The customer service at Beacon is unparalleled. We are so grateful for the communication throughout our power outage. Rebecca kept us informed about our appointment. And John, our assigned electrician was right on time and notified us that he was on his way. John troubleshooted our power outage and the root cause. He is very skilled and knowledgeable. Christian Bonilla installed a 11v 20a line for us and did a great job. He also gave us quotes for putting in lights that seemed fair. We will be coming back to Beacon in the future due to Chris.

Great experience with Beacon and their technician, Christian. He came out to give us an estimate on a few items and was able to complete everything the same day. He also provided multiple options for our requests, which was very helpful. We had outlets added in our closet, light bulbs replaced, and our bedroom outlets upgraded to include USB and USB-C ports. Everything was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. We will absolutely continue working with them on upcoming projects.

Called Beacon for a plumbing emergency (toilet clog backing up into the tub and erupting, gross) the day after Christmas. A very nice woman, Mary, answered and said they could handle it that day. He provided excellent service to complete a custom installation of a provided EV charger. He took his time to assess the home electrical wiring/setup to ensure the best installation to code and complete the job on schedule. Thank you to Courtney and the team for providing very fast response and flexible scheduling for all the services.

This was probably the nicest experience I’ve ever had with a situation like this. Bryce was highly skilled and knowledgeable and walked me through all the options clearly and helpfully. I never felt pressured to buy something or have extra work done—I just got a clear picture of exactly what was really needed. He was the perfect mix of professional and friendly, and honestly just a joy to work with. This was a relatively small issue, but in the future I’m going to need a lot of electrical work done and I won’t be going anywhere else!

I I wish I could give 10 stars. I think we make mistakes sometimes if we say that one company or another company is superior. All I know is that Shawn, and his apprentice Nathan, reinforce my belief in humanity. Incredibly meticulous, sensible, thorough, as well as being a delightful person to replace virtually every kind of electricity in this house starting with all the circuit boards downstairs. He then went through the whole house, turning things up and down, well I guess on and off is a better way of saying it To make sure that absolutely every segment of the house was functioning. It’s important to tell you that the electricity and the circuit boards were put into my house in 1964 and that they hadn’t been upgraded since. Shawn got it right away. Upgraded everything to 200. You have no idea how much a relief this is and how kind and patient the Beacon home services . Run not walk to this company. I’m filled with peace of mine right now. Thank you, Shawn!!

Matt came out to the house and cleaned up after another companys poor job. What impressed me than anything was that he was able to fix it quickly and my pipes no longer moved under the sink and there was no longer a leak. This is the 3rd time i have used Beacon and they are the only plumber and electricians i will use in the future. Call them u wont be sorry.

Mr. Gaithersburg is an experienced and skilled plumber. Knew just what to do and accomplished work skillfully and swiftly. Both he and office coordinator Mary were also responsive, pleasant and easy to work with. How was price? Hard to judge as got no other quotes. Job required replacing three water line valves and one outdoor spigot. Not expensive parts? The approx three hour job ran $2200 including 10% veteran's discount.

Shawn A. provided great service. He gave us a few options with varying prices. He was friendly with great customer service. Additionally, Rebecca kept me updated on my service window which was helpful for my husband and I.

After a small communications mixup, I was contacted by Mary, who scheduled the appointment and acted as the coordinator going forward. Any delay (locating a part, etc) was immediately communicated. As a liason between me and Beacon, I give her the highest marks. As for the service received, I have been a homeowner for 50+ years, and have never received the kind of service that was provided by Zach Furney on these calls. He is the ultimate professional: knowledgeable, personable, efficient, and energetic. Work was done quickly with attention to detail that reflects his high standards. Simple light switch replacement became hard due to older house and I needed some backup. Beacon sent Bryce out who was incredibly professional, honest, diligent, and great with kids who ask a lot of questions! I would recommend Beacon—but I would recommend Bryce even more.

Technician, Kelvin, worked hard to locate a battery for my device and I appreciate his hard work. He gave me good advice on two other issues regarding light fixtures. Also, Rebecca was very patient and helpful in scheduling and working on getting the work completed.

We had a technician come to address issues found during our recent home inspection. Kelvin was professional and polite and was able to provide us with an explanation of our situation and provide us with a quote for repairs during the visit. He installed 2 gfci outlets in our kitchen and did an excellent job. During the scheduling of the appointment, I spoke with Mary. She was very helpful and asked us questions to qualify our visit for the appropriate service. Overall, I am very pleased with the service received.

Rebecca was excellent with constant communication to keep me in the loop of when my tech was arriving. Christian did a great job replacing a couple outlets and making sure I had no hazards. I needed an electrician to come to my house to take care of this because two outlets were burned out and had melted plastic, and I needed a professional to make sure that I didn’t have a bigger problem and had no risk of a fire. Christian was the man for the job. Very nice guy. We had lots of great conversation while he was here. I highly recommend.

My water heater broke, I called Beacon Home Services, they sent somebody out that morning, who replaced my water heaters and cleaned up the water that had leaked. The plumber is very nice and kept me informed throughout the installation!

Beacon Home Services was quick to come out to our house and diagnose our electrical issue. The entire experience was easily one of the best I've ever had when it comes to home repairs. Both Mary and Bryce were a pleasure to work with. Bryce was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and detailed with his work and explanation of what caused the issue. Additionally, the cost to diagnose and perform the repair was shockingly affordable. It's easy to see why Beacon has so many 5 star reviews.

Great service, I had a leaky faucet and from my phone call to the completed repair it was less than five hours. Mary was very efficient and friendly and provided timely updates before and after the service. Mary answered my call yesterday, and arranged for Jonathan, one of their techs, to come today. He arrived on time and assessed our problem (no hot water). He offered 3 alternatives and helped me with the decision. We opted for a new replacement unit by the same manufacturer as the original, because it lasted almost 30 years. Jonathan had the new unit delivered, and he completed the installation-all today. The installation was neat and tidy, and he left the area spotless! Very professional! I would use them again!

Beacon performed electrical work and plumbing work at my house. Mary and Kristina were terrific with scheduling, with answering questions and for keeping me informed and updated in my appointments. Cesar (plumbing), Mack (plumbing) and Friday(electrical) were all professional, friendly, knowledgeable and did great work. They gave me valuable information in regard to the systems in my house and what I might need done in the near future. They also gave me estimates for possible future work. It was quite helpful and was not at all a hard sell situation. I would happily have any of these men at my house again. Highly recommend them and Beacon

John was on time, polite, knowledgeable and successfully diagnosed the problem. He made several options and recommendations and explained the pros and cons of each. I ended up choosing his recommended replacement toilet (instead of the one I thought I was going to buy) and I am very happy with the service I received. John replaced my old toilet with a brand new Gerber brand toilet. He came out with an estimate the first day and completely replaced my toilet and the emergency water shut off valve the very next morning. His work was clean and impeccable making sure everything was done properly. Scheduling was easy and Beacon Home Services were excellent with communication and dispatching. They called to let me know both times when the technician was on the way. I will definitely be using them for additional work and will request that it be performed by John.

Ahmad came by bright and early which I am a huge fan of and got straight to business. He did an amazing job explaining to me the process of installing a charging station in my home. Broke down the quote for me, and was even very patient when I asked all of my questions and discussed this decision with my wife to do a same day installation. (Being so close to Christmas) 10/10 rockstar employee and knows what he’s talking about.

John K was super knowledgeable and patient as we navigated some challenges in an older home that we just moved into. He gave us a thorough overview and presented us with our options and talked through all the questions we had. On the day he came to fix everything he worked very hard and stayed as late as he had to in order to complete the job. He followed up the next day to ensure we had all the necessary information. We definitely felt like it was a thorough and complete job and now we have peace of mind.

Very fast and friendly service...from booking the appointment with Mary to having Maurice out to do the job of hooking up my generator to the house panel. He was very efficient and knowledgeable. Matt came out to the house and cleaned up after another companys poor job. What impressed me than anything was that he was able to fix it quickly and my pipes no longer moved under the sink and there was no longer a leak. This is the 3rd time i have used Beacon and they are the only plumber and electricians i will use in the future. Call them u wont be sorry.

Friday came in and trouble shot and repaired two light fixtures and a fan in an hour.

Hernain Martinez did a great job. He found and fixed the problems. But more than that he was very personable and explained what the problem was and how he was fixing it. He had to do a lot of research to find substitute parts for some of the repairs. Also Rebecca did a wonderful job with keeping us updated on the schedule which involved multiple visits. They can take care of us anytime.

Workers were great. Fully explained what was needed and then worked their plan. Easy to talk to or discuss what was going to happen and when.

Beacon service representatives Zack for plumbing and Friday for electrical arrived on time and completed all repairs. The toilet flange was repaired and the toilet reseated and caulked. Outside faucet and bathroom sink checked, no issues. Friday worked on the electrical panel box which was as wired incorrectly. He was able to correct the problem in short order. Great service.

Called to repair a leaky faucet and the technician found rusted main valves and expansion tank. Replaced corroded pieces and fixed the faucet. Job well done. Will be using them again when the need arises. New jobs: 1) replaced a “washer box” (the water supply for the washing machine) and (2) replaced the dryer outlet and circuit breakers for the dryer. Both jobs completed quickly and efficiently

Excellent experience with Beacon. Had a new electric range delivered, but the delivery company couldn’t get the range to fit into its space due to the plug being in the wrong position. Called Beacon shortly afterwards and they sent an electrician the same day. Mary with customer service/dispatch helped set this up immediately, and true to her word and professionalism an electrician came shortly thereafter. Ahmad S. came and was beyond exceptional. He’s the best electrician we’ve worked and will absolutely call him the next time we need help. Previous electricians have been good, but none have been near Ahmad’s level of professionalism, humility, and personable approach. First, he ensured we could find a good location to relocate the plug and it was not an easy process. Ahmad was calm, focused, and patient throughout this difficult task. Once done, the range fit perfectly. Throughout, Ahmad was personable and jovial and was also glad to share knowledge. He also offered to install a home surge protector which we had tried to arrange with other companies for months but the pricing was always too high or scheduling was too big an ask for them. Ahmad gave us a detailed rundown of the available options and offered detailed insight on each one. Once we worked out the best option, he quickly installed it and we were good to go. In the future, I plan to call Ahmad for any electrical issues we have. Home ownership comes with never ending maintenance, so once you find an excellent electrician like Ahmad, you stick with them. When calling Beacon for the first time, wasn’t sure what to expect. They surpassed all expectations thanks to Mary’s quick work and Ahmad’s exceptional abilities and professionalism. Many thanks, will only call Beacon for Ahmad next time we need help.

I called in to get the estimate to have 20amp and 30amp dedicated outlets install in garage. Beacon sent the electrician Bryce same day for estimate. I had gotten estimate from 2 other companies but beacon had the best price. Bryce Edwards did the work. I was so happy with his work he did the excellent job. I told him that in future if need any work I will use his company and to make sure it will be him to do my job. I will recommend him to all my friends. Very professional and great attitude. He moved and properly anchored my kitchen light fixture (a previous handyman hadn’t secured it) and replaced an old fluorescent under-cabinet light with a new LED strip.
