Kelvin Rivera was very polite, professional, and easy to work with. Kelvin came for water heater issue with the switch and also identified and fixed the dryer issue that we have been struggling with. Kelvin also answered all of our questions and explained why the problem was happening, what was the cause and the items needed to fix it. We highly recommend Kelvin and Beacon for electrical type work for reliable and reusable, high quality professional to fix our issues. Hopefully we dont have major electrical issues in the future, but if they do occur because of old wiring, we will be calling Kelvin at Beacon services again.

Amazing service!

I put in a request for service on Saturday and was immediately contacted and an appointment was set up for Monday. The technician arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem and, after consulting with me about the cost of the repair, replaced the bad GFCI outlet. I thought the service was great and the repair cost reasonable. I am very satisfied with Beacon and will use them again if I have electrical our plumbing needs at my home.

Kelvin did a fantastic job. I put it off for years. It is done in hours and now can enjoy it. I probably would continue to put it off. So glad I called Beacon

Workmanship very good Prices very high

My husband and I needed electrical work done in our 1940’s house. Rebecca was instrumental in getting us on the schedule in a timely manner as well as following up after the work was completed. Hernain Martinez was assigned to perform the initial assessment. He inspected the house noting the essential work that ought to be done without any upselling. Hernain was professional and extremely knowledgeable of his craft. Although the work would take two days, he explained step-by-step how he planned to perform the work without any major disruption to our household. Hernain arrived on time on the scheduled day with all of the tools he needed to get the job started including an assistant, Nelson Mota. Nelson was also professional and extremely knowledgeable of his craft. Hernain and Nelson methodically performed each task seamlessly although they did hit a glitch with some old wiring. It took a little time but Hernain and Nelson troubleshooted and corrected the problem. Hernain and Nelson completed the work in a timely manner both days. They were a pleasure to work with and I would hire them again for my future electrical needs.

Maurice was very friendly and provided great service to install several new outlets, an EV charger and whole house surge protectors. Prices were reasonable. Rebecca was amazing as well with scheduling the appointment, invoicing, and other logistics which were all quick and easy.

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they kept having to cancel the appointments for our initial visit. It was frustrating to have to wait an additional two days when we were already desperate to have our washer fixed. But the people we worked with were great. The installation went very smoothly and the technicians were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Milton and Gabriel were quick efficient and let me watch them work so I could understand and learn how things were done. Glad they were able to get upgrade the electrical panel from 150 to 200 amp service, change the meter, and instal the fireman's kill switch in one day. Also to my surprise electricians do clean up after themselves and show up to work in the snow.

Called Beacon for a short in one of our light switches. They responded same day and our technician, Friday, was extremely professional, thorough, and expedient. Price was reasonable, and I would definitely recommend Beacon to a friend.

Beacon recently installed a whole house filter and also did a maintenance on my water heater. Luis, Cesar & Candis were absolutely professional throughout the whole process. Candis was amazing with setting up the appointment, answered all the questions i had. Luis and Cesar arrived promptly and was transparent and informative during and after the work; they explained how everything work and how to keep it maintain. They were an amazing team and i am very satisfy customer. Thank you guys.

Mr. David Lanham, the electrician, was highly professional. He listened attentively to my concerns and quickly diagnosed the electrical issue I was experiencing. He explained the problem in detail and showed me the affected area that was causing the issue. Because of Mr. Lanham's excellent service, I will choose Beacon Home Service for any future electrical needs.

Contacted Beacon Home Service because I was having issues with my smoke detector. The response time was very quick, and the technician Matt Lang arrived within a few hours. Matt did a thorough job of inspecting and troubleshooting the detector, and suggested replacing the detector. I found Matt to be knowledgeable and friendly and the job was done to my satisfaction.

Beacon was able to resolve a previous issue I had with them in a very fare and professional manner. Thank you Bob the owner for handling this situation in a very respectful way

Timely, friendly and efficient

The whole Beacon team was great start to finish. My only issue was that I filled out the online form for an appt and it didn't go through. Had to call and I reached an after-hours call center and then had to call a third time the following am. Had I not done that, I would not have had service the next day, so the online appt app, really needs to be fixed as well as notification next business day by the afterhours service. Beyond this snafu, Will was great in presenting all options from $1600 - $9000. After I recovered, we chose something right in the middle. I valued the time he took to explain the details and answering my multiple questions of why I would do one option vs another. Will then started the work with two others, Bryce & his brother (not sure of his name) and then just Bryce & his brother returned a few days later to complete the work. Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable and respectful while in our house. The work was completed and they even needed to come back to fix something right after leaving to replace an outlet that was not working. Overall 5 stars for the team and work done. The price seemed steep at first, but I feel like what we got for the price and the service and warranty we received will go a long way. Rebecca followed up sending me the survey via text when I couldn't answer right away, Amy kept us posted on arrival times. My only suggestion, fix the online appt option and communication from afterhours service to office staff so you don't lose customers who may not call back like I did. At this point, I have found out go to for an Electrician which hopefully we don't need in the future ....maybe will even try their plumbing to see if they're as good as I still haven't found a great plumber and I've tried many. Thanks Beacon team!

Jarrett was amazing he communicated very well with different situations. Honestly there were some issues with the power being out but he quickly made the effort to fix everything ASAP knowing how that can impact our daily lifestyle. I would recommend people to trust Jarrett with his skill in this work.

I own a small business in Manassas and struggled to find a local reliable electrician to stop by and take a look at some electrical issues we were having. I googled electricians near me yesterday and was able to find Beacon Home Services and I’m so happy I found them! They were able to come in today (next day) first thing in the morning which was AMAZING after trying for over a month to find someone… When he arrived he took a look at things and immediately found solutions and options to fit my budget. It was such a smooth process and I can’t be happier and will absolutely be using them for any future needs. Our cast iron drainage had rusted and broken in 3 places under our home. We got three bids and picked Beacon because they were the best price and we received a discount by becoming a member of their organization. Mack and Caesar, who did the work, very professional, polite, kept us informed, and left our basement cleaner than before the work they did! They scheduled 3 days, but completed the work in 1 and 1/2 days. We highly recommend them for any plumbing work you nay need,

Herndain provide the best service to fix my outlet no power problem. He is excellent. Beacon home service is also a good company in local to provide various service to home owners. Only one personal opinion. The price is little bit higher than others. I chose Hernain with Beacon because his professional attitude. Also Rebecca coordinated this project for me in timely manner with Angi App. It provide customer the best way to reach to professional service. I give both of them 5 star for their professional service.

We had one of Beacon’s electricians (Kevin) out to replace the front porch light on my parents’ home. They were quick to fit us into the schedule, showed up when they said they would, did a great job, and they were reasonably priced. I couldn’t be happier.

Very courteous and professional

I had an electrical breaker trip that powered a section of my basement lighting to include the outside lighting and power outlets.I called Beacon Home Services, and to my surprise, they were able to get a technician to my house within an hour. The technician’s name was Hernain and he quickly identified the issue which was a short on the outside power outlet. About 20 minutes later he had replaced the faulty outlet and power was restored to the basement. I would definitely recommend Beacon Home Services. They respond quickly and the technicians are knowledgeable and friendly.

The service I received from Dave was exceptional! He was very knowledgeable and taught me some things that I was not aware of. Also he didn't try to con me out of unnecessary services. Thank you Dave!

Beacon Services — both Electrical and Plumbing — are amazing. We have used both services for new, maintenance, and repair work. We recently had a back up in our kitchen sink/garbage disposal as well as a leak in an upstairs bathroom. Beacon arranged for a late hour technician to come on a Friday early evening given we were having out of town guests the next day. Patrick was highly knowledgeable, polite, informative, personable , and helpful in diagnosing and resolving both problems. He was a joy to have in our home. Thank you Beacon and Patrick for saving our weekend.

We recently had our washer flood our sink and thought it would be costly as our original pipes weren’t quite up to modern standards but Luis worked his magic and was able to resolve the issue at a good price point and gave great advice on how to prevent the same issue from occurring again in the future, 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Chris from Beacon Home Services was very knowledgeable and articulate in explaining the electrical problem. He identified the problem that two other electricians had missed. He offered the various solutions that could be done and the expenses. He was courteous and friendly at all times and treated me respectfully. When I called Beacon initially they took down the information and offered me a same day appointment. They sent me a short biography of the technician and his picture to ensure our safety and security. I called the company at 11am and they were at my place to provide a free estimate and service by 12pm. My technician, Milton, was excellent. He gave me 5 detailed options with price quotes, he outlined the issues, and he gave me professional recommendations each. Premium service!

From the moment I placed a request for an estimate, they were amazing with giving me confirmation, updates, and reminders. I was very impressed with his professionalism that I even went ahead and hired them to install an EV charging station for my new electric vehicle. They came back today and just completed all work and left after testing out everything with me to make sure I was happy. They even cleaned all the mess after them. We worked with Jonathan Beavers from Beacon plumbing. He did a thorough evaluation and explained everything. He was punctual, tidy, and respectful while making quality repairs. I could not recommend him highly enough! We have had several plumbing issues, and he fixed ongoing issues and did preventative maintenance. Brooke did a wonderful job coordinating everything, I will continue to use Beacon for everything plumbing in the future.

I had the pipes replaced that connect to my garbage disposal. From the first contact via text with Brooke to set up the appointment, to the technician’s work- it was a positive experience. They kept me informed of arrival time and Jonathan quickly went to work when he arrived and explained everything being done. Everyone I had contact with was friendly and personable. Would recommend!

We prefer local plumbers and are still looking for one who matches the price and quality of the local plumber we used until he retired. Beacon agreed to replace a laundry drain pump for less than other local plumbing companies that provided quotes. They also found the part and did the work the same day and offered a two-year parts and labor warranty. Competitors need two days to get the part and offered only a one-year warranty. We will use Beacon again.

DAVID B., the plumbing technician along with Amy, Caitlyn, Imani and the electrical technician have all been very timely and productively responsive to our calls for assistance. David has been the one who has spent the most time with us because many of our 19 year old pipes, water heater and toilets have required his skill and competence to make them right. Cesar at Beacon was absolutely fantastic. Top notch service will be going to them for all plumbing needs going forward. The personal touches are worthy of highlighting. The booking system allowed me to make an appt online with pictures - but instead of feeling like it was in a void, they contacted me right away to seek follow-ups. They contacted with with a picture of my technician, a write-up about him, and called to let me know when he would arrive. Once on site, our tech Cesar was so knowledgeable and patient. He worked with us extensively to identify the problem. He gave us a quote on the spot and stayed 9 hours to do ALL the work in 1 day. His diligence was incredible and I felt like he worked on our home as if it was his. He re-piped our water heater and replaced the system. It’s wonderful. Brooke was also awesome on calling the next day to schedule the county inspection. Overall I’m so happy we finally found a reliable plumbing company that doesn’t gouge prices or treat their customers poorly. Yay!

Been looking awhile for an electrician to repair a problem with our Lutron lighting system. Apparently, most electricians don’t have the knowledge or experience to do so, especially with older Lutron systems. Found Beacon Home Services, which sent out an electrician (Kevin) on the same day, who fixed the problem. Efficient, timely, qualified service!

We were extremely well satisfied with the service provided by Beacon Home Services. They have been our go-to for plumbing and electrical work. Jonathan was a friendly provider who worked a long time to diagnose, and even spent forever on hold with Kohler to find a replacement. In the end, he gave me his honest opinion on what we should do to go forward and it was actually the least expensive option.

Beacon is a very reliable business and we love Friday a senior technician who knows his stuff. He’s helped us on many occasion as well as a complete overhaul on our electrical panel.

Mack showed up on time and quickly worked to diagnose our issue and recommend some other overdue plumbing concerns that needed to be addressed. He clearly communicated his suggestions and what fixes were most critical. Update 1/14/2025: Christian came out to my house to address an electrical issue resulting from an electrical wire I had accidentally drilled through. He quickly identified the source of the problem, provided my options for the repair and some other items that were impacted by the damaged wiring, and fixed the issue.

Will, Bryce, and Tyler were all very professional and thorough in fixing our electrical issues and replacing all outlets and switches in the home. They were efficient and knowledgeable, and kindly returned to replace some switches and outlets that were missed. The team did an excellent job and we would certainly choose Beacon Home Services for future projects. The only suggestion we would make for future improvement is to clean the areas of any debris after completing work and dispose of wire, screws, and plastic wrappers since some of the spaces included our toddler’s playroom.

Zachery executed 5 Star plumbing service in resolving any inspection preparations related to the sale of our house after 25 years. In addition to addressing and resolving the identified plumbing issues we called for he also addressed the issues an inspector would look at which could delay the sale of our house. Having gone through a recent home sale himself, he provided the insight to help us make rational repairs to water pressure regulator and shut off valve which had not been replaced in 25 years. Finally, a contractor with employees who truly care. I'd give Jarrett 10 stars if I could, but 5 is the max. He never gave up on finding the problem with our electrical. He communicated problems as they were discovered and offered low to high cost solutions. Extremely knowledgeable, courteous, considerate, and tidy.

I needed an electrician to install a garage space heater and Friday was the man for the job! He was prompt, thorough, and performed a professional installation that included running additional electrical lines from the basement circuit breaker panel to the garage on the other side of the home. He also installed three new outlets in the garage with dedicated breakers to power a treadmill and our garage door opener, which had previously shared power with lights/appliances inside the home and often exceeded power demand and tripped the breaker. Additionally, Rebecca was very helpful in ensuring scheduled appointment times were confirmed in advance and was flexible in rescheduling during the holidays. Thank you for the great work! Would definitely recommend and work again with this company.

I called Beacon about an ongoing issue with the electrical in our bedroom. We previously called another company who charged us an arm and a leg to “fix” the problem only to have it return two weeks later. Our technician, Friday, came in for the save and diagnosed and corrected the problem in less than an hour. He was very pleasant to talk to as well. I would highly recommend for electrical services.

I had Chris Merino come out for an estimate and the eventual service work, and he absolutely transformed my workshop into EXACTLY what I've been imagining for years. I had a dust collector requiring a 230v circuit, a paint booth requiring 115v, and the addition of multiple outlets for various tools and he created a streamlined, expertly-designed layout that was neater than ANY electrical work I've ever seen. Chris was courteous, kept the work areas clean, and super professional and knowledgeable. Hands-down one of THE best technicians I've had the pleasure of working with.

Awesome company! Kelvin came out to fix my bathroom light that was slowly falling down...and probably would have at 0400 because that's life! He was professional, funny, down to earth, and very detailed. I would give more stars if I could!! I CANNOT say enough about the EXEMPLARY service we received from Bryce, Tyler and Will !!! From the moment I met them a year ago (due to personal reasons we had to delay the start of the project) we had instant chemistry and I felt like they cared about us and not just the job. They were respectful, responsive and very knowledgeable!! They assembled and installed 3 rather complex (multiple layers of crystals) chandeliers, one of which was in a 21 foot high foyer. They devised a plan to safely and effectively remove a chandelier from this height that weighed close to 70 pounds!!! We feel honored and blessed to have had them work on this project. They were very conscientious and respectful of our home and they are just genuinely good people. Special shout out to the brothers Bryce and Tyler and how well they work together and lend their expertise to the work. Their work ethic and professionalism is EXEMPLARY!!! As the senior technician, it is evident that Will has done a great job training them while allowing them to take the lead and learn as their skill level permits.
