Used Beacon for electrical repairs to prepare my home for sale. Chris Gilles came out On Saturday morning to make repairs needed. He was early to arrive and was very polite and very professional. Did a great job making the repairs. I am very pleased with the services provided. I will definitely return as a customer and look forward to working with Beacon Electric and Chris in the future.

Totally awesome service!!! Amy who scheduled the visit was very friendly and Zach who came out was awesome!! We had a broken pipe in our irrigation system. They were out within the hour and didn't even charge us for shutting the water off which is outside and buried. I had no idea where that shutoff was.

This is the second time I used Beacon electrical service in the last month. I was very pleased each time and was so satisfied with their efforts ,the first time , I found additional work to be done today. The next time I need electrical services , they will be first on my list to call. Each time the work was performed in a friendly,, professional manner . The technicians arrived in a timely fashion and finished the work to my complete satisfaction. Initially work was performed by Nelson and today by Dony. Each individual represented Beacon very well. I would not hesitate to contact them again for any future work I may need performed. The whole process was handled very timely and completely . The technicians cleaned up at the end of the job and left my house completely free of any debree. Job well done each time! Once again for the third time, I contacted Bacon home services to perform work in my home. This time I used their plumbing services. The entire process from making the appointment through the end of the job was handled very efficiently. Mack Shifflett was the technician that performed the work. He arrived in a timely manner and quickly evaluated the work that needed done Mack was very professional and knowledgeable about all of my plumbing issues. His wok was top notch. We continue to be pleased with the level of service and professionalism provided by Beacon for both our electrical and plumbing needs for our older home. The front office team (Amy and Rebecca) are very communicative and are great about giving updates on the timing of the technician's arrival so I am not stuck waiting all day. For our most recent biannual inspection, we had Luis for plumbing and Juan for electrical. Both are knowledgable and professional and give honest feedback about "have to do" vs. "nice to do" work in their realms. I never feel like I am being pressured to spend on something that doesn't need fixing. Overall very happy with Beacon - thank you team!

We had extensive electrical work completed by your company. We were delighted to see Jarrett again! He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, respectful of our home (used shoe covers), and patient. He explained why we had the issue and ways to mitigate it moving forward. In the future we will request Jarrett again. We also need to replace our HVAC and he this will be a service Beacon will provide early next year so we will be back. Jarrett is fantastic!

Outstanding service

Beacon Home Services exceeded my expectations. From Amy who kept me apprised of the schedule to Nestor, the plumber, who carefully sawed an outdoor hose that became calcified to the spicket, my experience was superb. Nestor was punctual, honest, professional and highly skilled. While Nestor presented us with options to replace the spicket at 4 times the cost, he never pressured us or tried to upcharge us. While he was here, he recommended other items for our future consideration. This was our first time using Beacon and we will definitely do so sgain.

Great experience with Beacon for an electrical inspection. Nelson Mota found and fixed several issues along with giving thoughtful and thorough explanations about our options for the fixes.

Chris from Beacon Home Services arrived on time. He was very professional and he took care in listening to help diagnose what was wrong with our lighting. Once he heard what I had to say, he immediately went to diagnose the problem and found the problem. He walked me through what it was and how he was going to address it. Chris was able to diagnose, advise, and fix the problem in no time. It was a big relief to have a professional who was honest and diligent about the work.

Plumbing services done 08/05. We had a leak in our master toilet. Nester was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient in replacing the wax seal and toilet. Amy kept us up to date on our scheduled time and when the technician would arrive. Electrical services done 8/21. Nelson came to replace 4 lights. Two bathroom vanity lights and two overhead lights downstairs. He was friendly, communicative, and made sure to ask preferences on positioning and lighting options. Absolutely recommend Beacon for any plumbing and electrical repairs you need!

The team at Beacon made a stressful situation manageable because of their professionalism and friendliness. 8/15/2024 Bryan came to install p-trap and he did excellent work. The cost of installing p-trap was bit high however I wanted it to be done under code. Plus, it was not like a regular p-trap where the drain comes from the wall, instead it came from the bottom under the sink. I liked his professionalism and courtesy. I asked couple questions and he answered everything thoroughly. Thanks! Hernain and Jordan did great job on installing gas grounding. I will definitely recommand. One downside was the company kept moving the appointment time. Cesar completed job throughly. I understand everyone can make a mistake but not everyone is trying to fix the mistake especially it is a minor. He noticed the flow guard was set up in the wrong direction at the end of the completion. Despite of tempting to leave the job without telling me the issue, he confronted the issue and cut the pipe and corrected issue. Washingass inspector came, reviewed work, and put on pass sticker, and gave Cesar suggestions also. He did all the works again. Overall, i am really thankful for his honesty and hard work.

Great experience with Beacon! Customer service was excellent. Our electrician, Josh, was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and the work was great! We needed an entire panel rewiring (old house, decades worth of wires). Josh cleaned it up and now we feel much safer in our home! Very smooth process, from scheduling to completing the process, and will definitely be using them in the future!

I contacted Beacon Home Services in early August 2024 about a plumbing issue at my church in the Falls Church, Virginia area. The responsiveness and courtesy of Courtney who scheduled the service call and Mack who handled the issue for me were outstanding. Very professional and skilled. Technician Juan Hernandez-Moreno was on time, polite, informative and efficient. He suggested replacement of an outdoor outlet that was badly worn and not up to current code; and replaced another GFIC outlet with one that had a visual (green light) to indicate power status. He was very respectful of me and my home. Rebecca was also very pleasant and helpful with re-scheduling issues and sent me the survey via email instead of text, as I prefer to use a real keyboard to type lengthy messages like this!

Called Beacon Home services this morning. I did not get the name of this nice lady who answered the phone. She was very helpful and got us help within few hours. Service was prompt and straightforward. Bryan was helpful and informative, and not pushy. He worked quickly and got the job done exactly as he said he would.

Great experience with this firm. Amy (dispatch) and Zach (plumber) were very helpful. Zach not only fixed my issue with a water filtration system, he showed me how to fix the problem myself if needed in the future. And he gave me a suggestion on how, with little labor on my part, I could fix a dripping faucet with little or no charge from the manufacturer.

The electrician Maurice and his partner Jarrett installed a 240v outlet in my house on August 1. They were clean, professional, efficient, and did the job well. And the communication from Amy in making the arrangements was excellent to. Though the price was a little higher than other estimates I got, I am glad that I went with Beacon because of the people. Indeed, when I first got estimates for the job back in March, Beacon's estimate was actually the highest. But Maurice did such a good job of explaining matters that it was clear that he was knowledgeable and cared about doing the job right. And they did do the job right. I would recommend Maurice Gramajo to anyone who wants electrical work done well by a trustworthy and knowledgeable contractor.

I have only positive things to say about my experience with Beacon. Rebecca was so efficient and professional when answering my call, and she inspired confidence in my decision to schedule a technician as soon as possible. I had a few scattered electrical problems along with a major issue that Nelson found very quickly. He was friendly and professional, explaining and answering my questions as he worked — clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He was also able to give us detailed estimates for the electrical items on our wishlist of home improvement projects. If all of Beacon’s electricians are like him, it’s no wonder this company has such raving reviews. We felt that Beacon’s prices were very fair and we wouldn’t hesitate to call again any time we have electrical issues that crop up. I called Beacon because I could not get a hold of my now previous electrician company. Our AC unit kept tripping the breakers and shutting off. Beacon came within an hour of the phone call and fixed it.

Chris was on time, very courteous, professional, thorough, communicative- and a very nice guy Rebecca was communicative and prompt in responses. Overall work was excellent, including clean up after the job was done.

The scheduling system with Beacon was quick and painless and I received a prompt callback where I was able to discuss exactly what I needed. The electrician sent was a gentleman named Jarrett. Jarrett was quick, courteous, candid, professional, and thorough as an electrician, but was also friendly and thoughtful as a person. For instance, he made sure to let me know when he would be working with power tools or making the most noise specifically because he was cognizant of the fact we have a newborn in the house. As far as the job goes, Jarrett made sure to discuss the different options for my job (adding a dedicated circuit in my garage when the fuse box was several rooms away) and he was able to accommodate what I wanted, and even made it a cleaner job than I had asked for. Honestly couldn't be happier with it. Rebecca was corresponding with me on the phone and she was also prompt and informative, ensuring that I was aware of the time window when Jarrett would be arriving. She called and/or texted depending on which mode actually made sense (i.e. if it was just information, it was a text, or if there was a question it was a call.) I highly recommend this service.

Solid work. Their staff are always communicative, punctual, and exceptionally professional. I have often found that their prices can be a little bit on the high end, but they ensure their work for several years and I have never had any issues with any of their electrical work over the years. UPDATE (7/24/2024) Another great experience with Beacon Home Services. Today Nestor and Brian replaced my hot water heater. All went smoothly. The old water heater was removed with no issues, and the other one installed with no fuss, no muss. Nestor and Brian were professional and did a great job cleaning up after the job was completed. I highly recommend this company for any plumbing issues you may have. —————- I have been procrastinating regarding some plumbing work. Eventually, I knew I needed to move forward. I did so with Beacon Home Services. It was a shockingly pleasant experience. I spoke with Michelle to make the appointment. She was pleasant and patient while I explained what I needed. She worked to get me scheduled as quickly as my schedule permitted. In the day of the appointment she let me know when to expect the plumber. Nestor was the plumber. He arrived on time with a cheerful and informative attitude. I walked him through my projects. With each, he explained the problem and my options to address the issue. Nestor provided clear explanations with the various estimates, making suggestions for other improvements that could be incorporated with the required fixes, but being very clear in terms of required fixes vs suggested fixes. Once the work was done, Nestor walked me through the updates, making sure that my questions and concerns were addressed. Overall this was a 10 out of 10 experience for me. I am happy to share that all of my anxiety was completely unnecessarily! Thank you to Michelle and Nestor for your help! Beacon Home Services has excellent plumbing technicians. Freddy repaired and replaced two sink drains and undersink pipes on Monday, as well as removed a toilet and replaced it with a new one. Chris did an excellent job figuring out what was wrong when previous contractors' renovations caused several outlets to stop working. He solved the mystery and fixed everything to 100%. Chris came back to put in some outlets that the contractor should have put In above a counter top. I expected that drywall would have to be damaged (i.e. holes that would have to be repaired later) to get the outlets installed. Chris did an amazing job putting in the outlets without leaving big holes as I expected would be needed! So grateful to have hired Chris for the job . I'm keeping Beacon for all my electrical work ...and I'll request Chris next time too!

We live in a historic house, and we lost power on our second floor. We had multiple other companies come out and tell us we needed to rewire the whole house, but Chris identified the issue right away and found a cheaper solution to simply change out the old wiring in the area that was causing the issue, saving us thousands! We had a situation that no one ever wants. Our young grandson flushed some cosmetics down the toilet and now it didn't work right. I was able to get 3 of the items out but it still didn't work right. Luis was removed the toilet and pulled out the remaining iten. He reinstalled the toilet and all is well!

We had an issue with a blown main fuse at the office causing our HVAC to start working. Called Beacon at 9:30 AM and Maurice and Devin showed up at 11:30 am. Maurice and Devin were awesome tracing the problem and restoring the electricity to the office! This is the first time that we have used Beacon, but it will not be the last!!

Excellent service and attention to detail.

Quick response time was orchestrated by Michelle. On site, Craig explained possible causes of our electrical issues as best he could based upon the information we were able to provide and was able to provide a variety of services he and Johnathan could perform that could possibly resolve our issues. We determined the course of action we were comfortable with and had them proceed with making the fixes. A night of winds and heavy rains provided a good test to their fixes. So far, so good. There were no electrical impacts resulting from the weather. All were easy to work with. We will use them again.

Excellent inspection and service today from Mr. Zach Furney! Needed some work on the pressure regulator, flushed the water heater, and generally scooped out some future work very patiently. Great experience, excellent work.

The quality of work was excellent. This project was very complex requiring coordination with Fairfax County Inspection Division, Dominion Energy, and Ark Solar. Craig and his assistant upgraded a very old 100 amp electric panel with upmost professionalism on three very hot days.

Mack was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He clearly explained the issues and the best way to resolve them. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I definitely would! Michelle was also very helpful and wanted to make sure we had a great experience.

Outstanding experience with a top notch electrician named Friday. Who resolved a very complex electrical issue. The price was very fair and Beacon offers a really neat plan for maintenance what is extremely reasonable and pays for itself after one visit - check them out! I don’t know how I have missed them all of these years. But they are my new go to company for all plumbing and electrical work. Grateful to have found them. Shout out to Michelle who took care of me both times in setting up the two appointments at two different locations so effortlessly. BHS is terrific! Response time to questions is phenomenal. They texted me when the technician was on their way and followed up with a phone call to give a 10-15-minute window of arrival. Jarrett is probably the friendliest tech we've ever met, very polite and professional, and answered all our questions. We had an 18-year-old roof fan to vent the attic and it finally died. Jarrett determined what was needed, obtained the parts, and replaced the fan within 2 1/2 hours! He also installed an on/off switch which was missing from the original installation. The attic is SO MUCH cooler now, which will extend the life of the roof and keep the upstairs bedrooms cooler. Could not be happier with BHS! Thank you very much!

Craig Hicks the Technician for Beacon. He was very professional and informative. He made me aware of something’s that was going on with the attic fan. And He disconnected for me. I have a warranty on the roof I got installed last summer so I need to call them to come out . He said to call him to come back after it is installed. Michele did a follow up call me to make sure all went well.

Kevin came right on time as stated. He quickly identified the problem and explained thoroughly to me and some recommendations.

A few years ago we were having difficulties with several outlets and switches in our house and the problems were found and corrected on the first visit. Dentist pint in we’ve used Beacon Services for out electrical repair. Today Chris followed up on our yearly inspection and upgraded our kitchen lighting, installed new circuit breakers and put in multiple smoke alarms. Shout out to Rebecca and the whole crew at Beacon. Next project is plumbing.

The technician, Christian was on time, he went through the areas of the house that needed to be repaired and gave us several proposals for us to consider. Michelle, with customer service followed up with a phone call to get feedback on how the appointment went.

Nelson Mota was super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He squeezed me into the end of his day and quickly resolved the problem with my three way switch. Although it required the addition of new ground wiring he identified another problem resolving all electrical problems within an hour. Thank you Mr. Mota!

Great company to work with. Jonathon and Michelle are a perfect team. Communication was great and finally my home is in good working order. Overall had my old style faucet laundry hook-ups swapped out for modern consolidated hook-ups housed within an outlet box. Jonathon went above and beyond and found a skinny box that would work better than expectations and also premium hammer valves were used which gave me peace of mind for the longevity of the water pipes. Also I appreciated how you knew the total invoice upfront which allowed Jonathon to manage the project in an efficient timely manner. All in all, the work comes with a warranty and I would recommend to a friend.

Jarrett replaced our old Federal Pacific electric box. We also had Beacon replace our water heater at the same time. The team was efficient, pleasant, respectful and thorough. We would recommend and use them again without question.
