Great service, I would recommend.

This is the first time I had used Beacon and I highly recommend them based on the results of this visit. They were prompt in responding to my emergency request, and the electrician that arrived on time did an excellent job of stabilizing the situation.

I had a same day service request for the lights that were not functioning. Rebecca professionally & promptly scheduled the service. The knowledgeable technician with great personality to match his expertise, promptly resolved the issue. I do appreciate that Shawn imparted information and suggestions for better maintenance. Despite challenges with scheduling initially, Courtney patiently guided me through the back and forth to have my job locked in. Once this was done, Rebecca identified Chris as my provider. Beacon has protocols for how they proceed with each job, and once those were agreed on, the work began. Chris, the electrician, was amiable and attentive to all my concerns and the job was completed beautifully.

Kelvin Rivera of Beacon came out and took care of 7 hardwired smoke/CO detectors for me in less than an hour and a half. He was on time, efficient, a nice guy, tested the detectors for me, and didn’t complain about all my stairs. I wanted the peace of mind that a professional could provide, and I wasn’t looking to get electrocuted. Not to be forgotten, Rebecca was extremely helpful and responsive with the coordination and dispatch. She kept me in the loop on when to expect Kelvin, and I even made a special request to get in on the earlier part of the day because I had early dinner plans. She was able to make that happen for me. 5 stars, and I would use Beacon again.

May 7, 2025: I lost power to my outdoor shed. Kelvin came out and quickly diagnosed it. After checking all the circuit breakers on my panel he went outside and found the problem. Water had been leaking into an outside GFCI outlet and destroyed it. He quickly replaced it and added a new outside waterproof box. Problem solved. Wow! I’m glad I called Beacon back. I used them last year for some outlet repair work when we had just bought our house. They impressed me again with their quick response, excellent customer service and superior workmanship. David was in our home for two long days. He worked tirelessly and meticulously. Always pleasant, super friendly and a cordial gentleman. It’s obvious he loves his craft. He went above and beyond to make sure that all the work I requested was done to my satisfaction. A true perfectionist, he patched up and cleaned every bit of dust and dirt created by cutting drywall, running wires through walls and ceilings, installing breakers, a sub panel and numerous outlets. Thank you David and thank you Beacon. I highly recommend them. EDIT: I had water hammer in my basement. It was very loud and sometimes the loud banging sound would wake my wife up at night. Zack came out and performed a very thorough whole house plumbing inspection. He recommended and installed a quiet valve near my sump pump. It totally worked and got rid of the loud banging sound every time I flushed the basement toilet or used the sink. He also recommended replacing our water pressure valve, which we did. Zack was very knowledgeable and personable. Again, I’m totally happy with the service I received from everyone at Beacon including Amy who was always pleasant on the phone whenever she called to update me about any scheduling conflicts. EDIT: 7/15/22 This is the second time I've had Joey come here for electrical work. He just finished installing my porch recessed lights. Once again, he did a phenomenal job. I'm completely satisfied with the job he did. Super nice guy. Very cordial, thorough and professional. Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ rating. He's a great ambassador for your company. Thank you Joey 👍🏻

Needed an electrician asap. I was able to schedule someone for the next day. Kelvin arrived on time and was able to diagnose and repair my problem that day. I needed a GFCI outlet and some other associated outlets replaced. Very happy with the work so far.

Beacon sent Mr. Friday to assist me in getting my electrical on....the City required a Licensed pro to do this type work on commercial property . Friday was the consummate professional..timely , polite , effective n clean...5 star service n 5 star personality....

We chose Beacon for a relatively big job of replacing our water heater and all the copper pipes in our house (which were 50+ years old and beginning to leak) with PEX mostly based on the experience we had with Luis, who was the plumber that came out for the initial estimate. Beacon's estimate was in the middle of the range compared to others we received, but Luis made the best impression by far and stood out as the person we wanted to work with. He and another plumber (Caesar) were at our house for a week working on the project. Both were extremely professional, friendly, patient (I often bugged them with a lot of questions), and did a good job of communicating. They made sure to point out possible concerns like a dent in the new water heater (which was not their fault), and different options for where temporary holes needed to be made to access the plumbing. It was clear that they both worked very hard; there were a couple of days when they worked from 8am past 6pm to make sure the project would be done by the end of the week. We have not had any issues with the new water heater, new PEX plumbing, or new drainage pipes, and the back office did a good job working out scheduling issues with the county to get the new heater inspected and certified. I would recommend Beacon based on our experience.

Called to have my new gas grill connected to the house supply. Luis came and did amazing job. He made the line long enough to move the griddle around and also included quick connect fitting. He also painted the pipes to prevent rust. I will ask for Luis Ponce in future for my gas hookups.

I recently hired Beacon Home Services to replace the original electrical panel that was installed when my house was built in 1984. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Once the permit was approved by PWC, the team arrived fully prepared—with a supervisor, a generator, and a clear plan for the day. The work was expected to take all day, and the crew—Kelvin and Mourice—worked efficiently and professionally, finishing everything by 4:00 PM. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and did a fantastic job. I’m very happy with the results and would definitely recommend Beacon Home Services to anyone needing electrical work.

I called Beacon at 8am this morning with a minor emergency. They were able to schedule me for same day service and Joshua arrived an hour later. Can't beat that response time! It took Joshua a few short minutes to diagnose the issue, and tell me how to fix it. 10 minutes later, issue fixed and I'm on my way to enjoy the rest of my day. No selling me on stuff I don't need, nothing but calm confidence from Joshua in his ability to diagnose and fix the issue. Now I'm not saying that they will always have a 60 minute response time, but I called 3 other companies who were unavailable. My neighbor recommended Beacon and I'm grateful he did!

Beacon is out go-to for all of our electrical needs. They always get it right the first time and the office staff and technicians are so nice! December 2023: Once again Beacon did a great job. Amy always keeps us up to date of scheduling and when we can expect a service person. This time, it was David, our go-to person for all things plumbing. He fixed a leaky toilet and ran the pipes and installed a new faucet in the tool room/green house.

Beacon Home Services (Virginia) just completed repairing water-damaged electrical box. Everything was fantastic. Starting with Rebecca in the office who facilitated scheduling, kept me informed and probably a zillion other things I didn’t even see. Then electrician Chassidy took it from there with prompt, professional and expert repair service. It was an extensive and expensive repair, but price was competitive (I checked).

We recently arranged to have an EV charger installed in our garage and decided it was also time to have our 25 year-old electrical panel "organized" and brought up to our county's current codes. This was all work that our Beacon electrician, Kelvin Rivera, handled with efficiency and professionalism. This was NOT a small job and took major coordination with the county permit office as well as NOVEC. Our experience working with Kelvin and the gentlemen who assisted him, (Maurice & Devon) as well as the office staff who kept us updated about the permit process and inspections, was managed beautifully. Most impressive to both my husband & myself was the courteous and respectful way we were treated throughout! Kelvin in particular, treated us like "family". No one "likes" having to pay for electrical "fixes" in their home BUT it is RARE when the need arises to find an electrician that is so professional and KIND that you don't mind paying those bills so much. We joined Beacon's Lighthouse Club because this was such a positive experience!

Technican Craig show up on time as promised. Craig seems to know his craft. Craig testing on all the switches n outlet also the circuit breaker box. Craig pin point why the lights did not comes on because few switches was damaged . Craig replaced 8 switches and the light came back on. Over all we are satisfied with Craig performance. Also thanks to Rebecca inform us the status with pur tech arriveful time. We had good experience with Beacon.

From the first time they came to install new fixtures and outlets to redoing the lighting in my kitchen, the two technicians have been nothing but exemplary. The two techs, Lead: William and his apprentice Andre are the best contractors I've ever worked with. (And I've worked with many). The knowledge Will has, and the recommendations he has given us have saved us a lot of many in the long run and improved the home's current lighting situation 10 fold. Beacon has very fair prices, but more importantly their workmanship and warranty is EXCELLENT as well. Top marks no question about it. They have showed up on time every single time and completed the work pretty much in exactly how long they estimate it to take. If you need any type of electrical work done you can't do on your own, don't hesitate to call Beacon, make sure you ask for Will and Andre. If all you care about is the cheapest option and you don't care if the work is done well and backed up then keep it moving but remember this: If you know the price of everything but the value of nothing, then you are a salesman's preferred customer. A special shout out to Candice and Zach ad well! And this company does not do business like that.

Rebecca was very professional and keeping me informed about the technicians coming to my resident. Craig and the other technician identified the issue I was having and was able to correct. There were also other issues were identified that I need to correctd Different proposals were given that I will pursue from Beacon.

So far so good. Hot water heater was replaced during the day; Wayne Gaither did almost all the work by himself, just a helper to bring parts and physically move the tanks. He added a drip pan and condenser. Still waiting on the county to approve the installation though Wayne says the county would be idiots to not approve. Famous last words. Sticker shock at nearly $4k to replace the tank. Cost is high like everything in MoCo so pay no attention to any published “averages”. I think the price was fair the area. Yes I would use Beacon again.

On the morning of my appointment, they sent a photo of the technician along with a brief bio, which I felt was a nice touch. Cesar arrived at the scheduled appointment time and was very friendly, professional, and courteous. I discussed the projects with him, and he was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and provided a detailed estimate. Work was scheduled for the following week, and Cesar and Luis both arrived on time and did excellent work. Luis was also friendly, professional, and courteous, and both were well-skilled. They kept me informed on the progress and kept the work areas clean throughout the project; and Candis reached out several times a day to ask how things were going. I am extremely impressed with the quality of their work and their professionalism throughout. Beacon is a top-notch company, and I will definitely use them for future projects. Milton and Gabriel came to the house and got right to work. They were professional, efficient, and super friendly. It was a bit of a tight spot to install an outlet in a remote part of our attic but they dug in there and made it happen. Really nice guys. This was a great experience. John Katsiotis of Beacon Home Services came to fix a very challenging task. A bolt had rusted out and broke off in a pvc pipe in our bathroom. I thought there was a less than likely chance it could be repaired without tearing out a bathtub, but he succeeded! It was marvelous to witness. John is a really expert plumber and I highly recommend him and Beacon Home Services.

Will and Tyler did a great job on installing a new circuit and upgrading the circuit panel to accommodate it with new breaker switches. Very neat and efficient.
